i kena this also, extra RM1 charged around 3am plus (shopee), became settled pretty fast
it will tally after a few days (all the shopee one or not transactions refunded, luckily I have 2 or 3 only), I've stop using BP for one or not since I encountered that one extra RM1

You should dispute that RM1. The same thing happened with TIME Internet where an additional RM1 charge will appear after a couple days of registering auto-debit.

Thanks for ur sharing.. so, how long u get refund on the extra RM1?

I just wonder y BigPay allow the charge to go in without our authorization since Shopee always need OTP..

In fact, I reluctant to join the one or not as I do not want to do recon with my card statement for that after this n bigpay no statement.. also didn’t expect I’m so unlucky to have this issue.. but, I c the Nintendo and Samsung s10 very worthy, just to get it a try.. but, both also cancelled.. so, I’ve only 2 txn..

I chatted with cs when I first discovered the extra RM1, he assured me it's preauthorized and will be refunded.

BigPayJonathanI thk it's a bug in their system, while the previous pending RM1 (actual spending) is still there and they get a refunded RM1, somehow they did not manage to tie back to the original RM1. So the system created an extra RM1 spending to be offset by this refund. Both new RM1 refund and RM1 spending changed to settled. The original RM1 spending still pending and released a few days later. So total balance still tally but I would not prefer the extra entry.

so if the original spending are released properly, I assumed there will be no problem

mamamia it was released around 29th or 30th jun if i remembered correctly

for short trip in SG, actually any paywave card also can use to replace ezlink mah. Not necessary must be BigPay (although the exchange rate is good).

Just assess if the RM2.50 ezlink card deposit (if you don't intend to go again) + minimum SGD10 in-card requirement for ezlink, vs paying higher exchange rate with other card (for a small amount), which one is worthwhile. smile.gif

In my case my colleague was kind enough to lend their ezlink to me. That's why i think reload with BP is much worthwhile, best of both world. rclxms.gif

This is the same issue I had around 2 months back. The transaction interface doesn't have any indication if it's an outgoing or incoming transaction & this only serves to scare the users.

I had a partial refund of an oversea transactions & woke up thinking that I've had a failed unauthorized transaction when in fact, it's just an incoming transaction.

I went on a chat with BP & was told that this is actually a refund settlement instead that was somehow tied to my previous purchase that took place last month. So in a way, without contacting CS, I have no way of knowing that this is actually an incoming transaction, not outgoing. sweat.gif

I have 2 x RM1 on 7 July, n notice 1 of them shown as pending, the other one is settled. hope it will shown as reversed soon to tally back..

But, I have another Shopee purchase RM200++ in early morning on 7 July also shown as pending.. dunno is it Shopee just settled those one or not transactions only can do refund
