QUOTE(albertteh @ Apr 20 2019, 07:57 PM) Is the same as any other card. Give you sweet now and will charge you later on. Why Asian is so stupid??? Lol For those who travel overseas just use cash or prepaid card from those country anyway. Why all those stupid card??? . Interesting. Mind to share what's the possible charge it would impose in future? In my opinion, this can serve as backup money during travel.

QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ Apr 26 2019, 02:35 PM) Yes, either you opt for unlimited withdrawals per month with RM8 annual fee, or 4 free withdrawals per month at any Maybank ATM. Fifth withdrawal and above in a month will incur RM0.50 per withdrawal. QUOTE(koala225 @ Apr 26 2019, 02:37 PM) I think he meant free 4x withdrawal by debit card monthly. QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Apr 26 2019, 02:40 PM) ok, I thought since when BP so nice give free ATM withdrawal. Thanks for clarify!

Any ppl tried at Melaka?
Tried withdrawal 3k at HLB Jalan Munshi Abdullah and Jalan ong Kim Wee, no luck. (Atm limit) 3k at MBB Jalan Ong Kim Wee works. Only for 3rd machine from left.
My friend tried 4k at HLB Batu Berendam, first attempt works, second attempt with 3k and 4k after 1 day not working anymore.

QUOTE(onikagi @ May 8 2019, 08:50 PM) Guys, if I were ordering some stuffs online, would it better to pay directly through debit or bigpay? The inconsistency in exchange rates is confusing.. If it charge in foreign currency, compare debit and bigpay and see which one lower rate. Take note it will deduct your money based on "posting date", which might be higher or lower.

FYI Topping up BP with MBB card show as "Financial Service" in pie chart. The same for Boost show as "Others".

Guys I'm travelling to Singapore next week. Plan to use BigPay as primary payment source but will bring some cash just in case. Is there anything (such as oversea usage) I need to enable or take note before travelling? Is prepaid card with pin widely accepted in SIN? I didn't upgrade my BP to contactless card yet. QUOTE(Kenny4820 @ Jul 8 2019, 02:00 PM) Yes, it is widely accepted. The other option is just withdraw cash from atm. Thanks for your input. Yes, ATM withdrawal is my plan B. But it would impose another RM10, so might not be my first choice when running out of cash.

QUOTE(yujin86 @ Jul 9 2019, 08:28 AM) Singapore paywave is super common. unless you going to those hawker centre in HDB/neighbourhood. u can tap in and out for mrt and bus as well. no need to purchase ticket or use easilink. oversea usage no need any activation. pay with pin is ok in SG. Thanks for your info! Unfortunately I do not have paywave enabled BP. So i still need to use pin reload ezlink I guess?

QUOTE(laymank @ Jul 9 2019, 11:44 AM) for short trip in SG, actually any paywave card also can use to replace ezlink mah. Not necessary must be BigPay (although the exchange rate is good). Just assess if the RM2.50 ezlink card deposit (if you don't intend to go again) + minimum SGD10 in-card requirement for ezlink, vs paying higher exchange rate with other card (for a small amount), which one is worthwhile. QUOTE(digidigi @ Jul 9 2019, 11:45 AM) Pay direct with cc is more worthwhile In my case my colleague was kind enough to lend their ezlink to me. That's why i think reload with BP is much worthwhile, best of both world.

QUOTE(pw8799 @ Aug 3 2019, 11:02 PM) Guys, if I use BigPay aborad , will they be any extra charges imposed ? I read the FAQ on the website , but I dont really understand Short answer, no. Long answer, if you swipe it would charge on the conversion rate imposed by Master, which is very near to XE.com. If you withdraw from ATM, see first page for charges.
