Forgot to mention here..
I try to press this and that during weekends, experiencing the soft touch dashboard and etc..

Do you realize some part/plastic cover from the interior and exterior are rather soft than you expected, let me give some examples.

1. The plastic panel below your steering, or above your legs (driver side).
2. The interior part of the roof..
3. The plastic thing below the wiper (that small curve on the left and right)

is it normal? hmm.gif

Yo guys,

My SA told me that Mazda HQ has allocated 15 units of CX-5 to the dealership for this month, but the customer names are somewhat not finalized yet.

Is this normal? Shouldn't the dealership decide the names n who gets first? Currently he is waiting for an email from HQ on the name list.

If you don't want to spend a fortune on your tint, just replaced the front windscreen with good quality tint from 3M, VKool, Llumar, etc
The side and rear windows can use magnetic shade, etc if not dark enough
Powerboot, can check with installers like Jack Lieu, Shorty5 in Klang. Budget from Rm1.8k to 3k

Hi. I have booked CX-5 2.2D FWD. Read a lot of the wheel spin and torque steer. But today, I was offered a 2.5 model. Any members here own a 2.5? How is the consumption in town use? If it can best the average 9.4L/100KM my Subaru XV is getting, I don't mind the more expensive road-tax. Only negatives are the absence of Driver Attention Alert and Smart City Brake Support and the main reason why I booked 2.2D FWD.

If you have the budget for tint, just scrap it off... its a very lousy tint that we had to pay for..  with the current weather, your CX5 will be like a moving oven..  ranting.gif

No budget ler. Irregardless of quality of tint, my case is more on the poor workmanship and SA/SC trying to put the blame to HQ.

Definitely the 2.2D for its 420Nm torque, the more complete i-Activsense suite, full color LCD display instrument cluster, not forgetting the super good FC. But ofcoz the diesel engine noise can still be a little annoying. But the 2.0 engine also sound like a diesel engine ... sad.gif

Malaysia model only have 6 speakers, and the center of the dashboard is left empty without any speaker. Did anyone install additional speaker at the center of the dashboard? Simple plug and play without the need to remove the dashboard first?
