Definitely the 2.2D for its 420Nm torque, the more complete i-Activsense suite, full color LCD display instrument cluster, not forgetting the super good FC. But ofcoz the diesel engine noise can still be a little annoying. But the 2.0 engine also sound like a diesel engine  ... sad.gif

I have a Ssangyong Kyron before so diesel clatter is okay. What swayed my decision is the iActiveSense package. Now for the long wait for the car ....

My plan was to change car in 1-2 years time but because of the tax free period sweat.gif

Good excuse har, haha rolleyes.gif

BTW, CX-5 is good car and you did the right choice. In fact during tax holiday period to change the car is right timing but you have to consider that the second value of your old car also depreciated, so net off is save not much unless you buy additional new car without trade in.

Few days with my 2.0 GLS
Some thoughts on I-stop system.
Actually is quite a intelligent system, I-stop only activate when I want it to.
When in traffic jam, if I not fully floor the brake pedal, by slowly slowly pressure it, It would engine stop (and I-stop indication blinking) and i fully floor the brake pedal (if i wanted to) then only I-stop activate.
So along my normal day ride every morning about 10km traffic jam, the I-stop won't disturb me with engine stop actually.....

Anyone has info about 2.0GLS Deep Blue Crystal coming this month?
*
When you booked your car already?

I booked DCB 2.0GLS on 2nd June, and my SA told me during end of July that I am holding queue number 60.

Number 60 was later became 50 during the first week of August.

So you can agak2 estimate when will be your delivery date.

Note : 60 or 50 queue number is based on whole Malaysia orders for DCB 2.0gls.

Yes bro, figured this out yesterday too.

Now I par that with my On-Hold button, when i fully floor my brake pedal, i-Stop and On-Hold activated. And i can rest my legs during traffic jam. nod.gif

And also kind of get used to the jerking (i-Stop on and off). smile.gif

Didn't trade in my old car. I pass it down to my sister laugh.gif It's quite new as well, about 4-5 years old only so didn't plan to sell it off.

Don't really like the jerking/vibrating feeling when the car restarts. Also hard to control the brake pedal since I like to fully step on it usually sweat.gif

Ya. the vibration when engine restart really annoying, but the engine restart and moving forward the timing and duration almost seamless (for me, and I first time with this I-stop system) feel Good for me.....

Individual's preference I guess. Another thing is the idling vibration. I can feel the vibration when the RPM goes below 750. It annoys the hell out of me. Might go for some ECU tuning soon.

No idea man. It only happens when it goes below 750 RPM. Can tune the idling RPM to stay above 750 so that it won't vibrates much laugh.gif

Oh I see. then you will get call from your SA anytime soon.

From my previous analysis, Those who booked on May from Mazda Branch, are already got their car delivered on July. Dealers should be slower. nod.gif
