Definitely the 2.2D for its 420Nm torque, the more complete i-Activsense suite, full color LCD display instrument cluster, not forgetting the super good FC. But ofcoz the diesel engine noise can still be a little annoying. But the 2.0 engine also sound like a diesel engine  ...

I made booking in June for 2.2D GLS DCB. This morning my SA informed me that my car is ready so tomorrow got to go settle the DP and sign loan agreement... 😊

I feel this Konica Minolta Skytint is passable, just took me 1 minute to cool car (i toggle to 20c aircond on auto). If i need privacy, maybe i will just get that sunshades. changing a new tint really waste of 1.5k worth of tint IMO.

Btw, did your SA mention on the factory-installed power boot for new delivery?

If not, maybe you can check with your SA if indeed there is factory-fitted power boot for CX-5

so can yours be fitted with power boot at RM2K also? which SA u go too?

Did anyone ask official Mazda about Android auto/apple car play support on malaysia cx5? Did they respond?

I think this is much better than the 1K plus that we need to spend to upgrade to AA or Apple CarPlay?

Yep, aware it can be gotten now, but how's yours done? You mentioned it's AIO tweaks.. So the easy usb alone hack or had to do the serial hack first?

.. The cons are real. I have noticed too that the auto wiper sometimes goes pretty fast when it shouldn't. Need to fiddle with the settings some more. Or perhaps it's the Rain-X on it?    Lastly, if only the made the auto-hold auto enabled upon each start instead of the istop..

I understand.. However, don't experience such issues in the diesel variant. Since there's ample power from low revs. No jerkiness, shakes or vibrations during idling. Will try to take note of its idle rev position later. What I'd like to tune is for better fc and power, smoother or more linear gear changes..especially down shifting, encountered a few times while coasting and going downhill leading to a traffic light or sharp bend, the engine becomes unsure or slow to downshift and just holds on to the previous higher than needed rev. Noticed this happening about 3 times.. Last time, I had to shift to "M" mode to manually downshift. So not sufficiently annoying yet. 

I am driving a 2.2D AWD but I do not have the problem you described and also when slowing down at traffic junctions and/or coasting down the elevated highway ramp. I am from Penang island. I have been taking the longer route; the new elevated expressway leading to the 2nd Penang Bridge and Pantai Dalam/Permatang Laut expressway, to get home, and to work since I took delivery of the car. The power delivery is so smooth and it is very addictive. BTW, I used Shell and I am getting an average fuel consumption of 14.1km/liter for town use. Any 2.2D owners can share your fuel consumption?
