Correct. IMO it's not worth going for 2.5.

Why? Here's my 2 cents.

1. You gotta pay more road tax than 2.0.
2. You get less power and FC compared to 2.2 D
3. You don't get full safety tech like 2.2D like lane departure assist (LAS), lane departure warning system (LDWS), driver attention alert (DAA) and adaptive front lighting system (AFS)
4. The price difference between 2.5 and 2.2D is very small, yet you are missing out everything
5. FC for 2.5 is not as good as 2.0 if you are driving in city most of the time due to higher cc but stuck in traffic
6. The only good thing is the maintenance and repairing cost is lower than 2.2D but like chinese saying, if you are already paying for the chicken might as well pay for the kicap

So my 2 cents here is that if you want power go for 2.2D. If you drive in city most of the time and don't mind the power, go for 2.0 GLS.

Just got my 2.2 few days ago. Went for my 2nd diesel full tank yesterday night at petronas, but this morning experience power drop, compare to 1st time refuel at Shell it was quite some difference and am kinda dissapointed with its power.

Anyone has had the similar experience?

Maybe u guys can share your preferred diesel euro 5 brand?

how i wish mazda can have those shades built-in in the car like those higher end cars, or even entry level luxury cars have.

Anyone tailgate light(when tailgate lift up it is in the inner left side of the tailgate) not functioning? I jz discovered it 1.5mth after taking the car and 1k service already done...

Same here.. I miss the stripped out features.. Particularly the HUD, MRCC, BOSE and Memory seats... These to me are super practical features and will further enhance the driving experience for good. TBH, paddle shifters and powered boot are lower on my rankings.

Rather than front sensors... Perhaps front cameras?.. Cuz some objects don't get detected on the sensors..

if the power boot is less than 2k i might consider..

because i have seen the demo...sometimes it doesn’t work well...so i am skeptical

Saw somebody changed the information cluster but too much work. Need both hardware and software modding I guess petrol variant has to just live with it.

What I want the most now is the Android Auto support.

Was thinking to change it to be like Peugeot's instrument cluster but that's too much of a hurdle

Well, daily commute to work from home is 80km both ways.
Then weekend, fetch the kids to tuition, meals etc.

Annually I will covered 25k to 30K km.

In door side tyre pressure guide is 240kpa to 280kpa recommended.
