I think there is a small batch of Arctic White produced recently for May orders.
My SA ask me whether I want to switch to Arctic White as one of her customer having problem gathering money for the deposit. (Yes, i know, it is weird and funny), But i still will wait for DCB, ordered since 2nd of June.

inform me once you get. if you get faster then me, i want to curse the SA kaw2. hahaha

Just sharing some experience driving the CX5 for 1st few days. Mine is 2.0GLS model.

1) I like how they system is intelligent enough to let you to control if you want to engage the auto hold and i-stop based on the brake pressure when you press the brake pedal upon stopping. I don't see any reason why need to deactivate the the i-stop when you have full control to activate it or not based on the situation.

2) Decent amount of power for 2.0 model. Accelerating to 150km/h was not an issue. in fact you'll never realize you've driven that fast if not by looking at the speedometer. Never need to change to sport mode so far. But upon testing the sport mode, it just revs the rpm higher. I don't notice any improvement on throttle response. But it was a short testing only. Will try again soon.

3) GVC is over rated. Yes, it works. But i think it helps at a very minimum level. I think only driver could feel the difference but the passengers won't feel any difference.

4) NVH is so damn good. Cruising at 150km/h is not an issue. The car is very stable. The road and wind noise is very minimum.
My dad drives the new CRV. I occasionally drive his car and obviously CX5 cabin is better insulated and isolated. It might not be the best in its class(I haven't drive the Tiguan yet) but sure one of the top in its class.

5) Handling is superb. CX5 is able to handle any low speed and high speed cornering without any problem and hassle. The steering responds was accurate and not much correction needed(might be due to GVC helps to normalize the weight balance of the car).

6) Built in navigation is so bad. A lot of POI is missing. Many address can't be searched. When I searched online, found that it is using Tom Tom GPS. There are tutorial to update the map our self. Will give it a try and see if the map improves. Overall Mazda infotainment system control is good. Very easy to use. All information is easily accessible via the rotary knob.

Overall, the car is perfect if huge space is not a main concern. I use the car daily with my wife and 2 kids(both sitting in car seat) and found the space amount is sufficient for me. If I were to describe the car in 1 sentence, it will be - WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Just got mine.

Question: Should I install Android Interface now or wait of official Android Auto?
*
i will go for android auto anyday. it is specifically designed to assist the driver without much interference. The android interface on the other hand is designed for tab/phone. so the interface itself doesn't really suit the driving assistance. and i don't think we really need to watch movies or youtube upon driving. huhu

or free if you DIY it yourself: https://mazdatweaks.com/
the RM400 is a service charge for someone to do it for you
*
Not easy to DIY for the new HU firmware now. need to open the dashboard and unmount the head unit to get access to the USB port. need to connect to PC and unlock the USB then only can install the mazda AIO and the android auto. for me, i rather pay RM400 to get someone experienced to do it rather than DIY and end up damaging anything. huhu

*
1.6K is like high end android box + 42" LED TV already. huhu

Find it too much hassle to press so many times. 2 times is alright  laugh.gif

Best for those who got their car after September, I guess they got an extra dedicated button for power tailgate.
*
mine is like 2+2. so far ok la.. but not using it much. prefer to press the button on the boot itself.. yes. the dedicated button is best...

Should be able to get even more that 100km since the petrol signal lit up. i filled up when the needle is on the final marking and never get to fill up more than 51litres. the tank capacity is 56litres right?

Mazda’s BOSE is overated. And it cause more problem then our speakers.

Users who own BOSE will have dilemma when they thinking for an upgrade.

BTW, Lane-keeping Assist System experinment complete. Perfectly fit for CX-5 2.0/2.5 GLS without changing meter.
*
bro, your lane keeping assist include steering intervention? or just the warning?

Did you guys enable the Auto-Lock function? The function that car will auto lock when you walk away from it.

Sometimes when I at home, I want the car remain unlocked, is there any method?
Cause everytime I walk away, it will auto lock. Even I press unlock from key fob, after certain time, it is locked again.

From Mazda manual
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I use this method, press unlock from key fob, open and close the door. It will still lock itself again. rclxub.gif

keep key fob inside the car.
