Horrible customer service that changes your order without consent.
Timeline:
11 Feb 1AM: Ordered Onyx V Ryzen (RTX2060) from
https://store.illegear.com/ready-to-ship/24...yx-v-ryzen.html11 Feb 3PM: Contacted Sales Support to cancel order as I wanted the Onyx V (RTX3060) instead.
Sales Support upgraded my order with new invoice after top up.
24 Feb 5PM: No response after 2 weeks, contacted Sales Support about status of ETA. Sent me article to gizmodo about global chip shortage, and that my order would be delayed to April onwards. Told me to email billing support to cancel.
24 Feb 6PM: Emailed billing support to cancel order. Offers switching to intel by topping up RM500 as stock would arrive next week. I declined and wanted a full cancellation.
25 Feb 3PM: Billing support reverted my order to RTX2060 without my consent. I replied stating I do not want to revert it and wanted cancellation instead.
26 Feb 2PM: Billing support sent me a DHL tracking number with laptop being shipped already.
I replied again stating my intent.
26 Feb 3PM: Billing support justifies that since RTX3060 order could not be fulfilled within timeline, order has been reverted to RTX2060. I replied again stating my intent and to cancel the shipment.
26 Feb 4PM: I explained my conversation with Sales Support previously who told me to email billing for cancellation. Billing support instead states that cancellation is no longer possible as their machines are "made-to-order basis" as it was custom-configured product.
26 Feb 5PM: I explained the original order (RTX2060) was not customized at all, it was "ready to ship", "ready stock". I further clarified Sales Support was able to "upgrade" my order, so why was I bound by the "made-to-order basis" rule.
26 Feb 5PM: Billing support replied that they require "some time to prepare the ready-stock units (QC, stress-testing), as all orders are made-to-order basis, regardless of customizations performed / pre-configured specifications." Since they could not fulfill RTX3060 on time, they "reverted" my order to RTX2060 since stock is available which I did not consent.
26 Feb 6PM: I replied again stating my intent. Gets a canned response with snipet of Terms & Condition of "custom-configured product". I contacted Sales Support again who said they will escale the case to "PIC".

Bro, saw your review on Illegear FB and they have responded. I think you can request for partial refund and minus some processing fee.
