Nice!! Seems like the PB ING Debit MasterCard Paypass is a better option right now. Since it got the paypass feature.

I think shouldnt worry about some place accepting Visa only and no mastercard that type of stuff right??

Nah , there is no such thing. In Malaysia , there is no such thing as one place which takes visa and the other do not.
So you're safe

Works online and offline just like a normal credit card

At the traffic light junction (coming from KL) into 1Utama, turn left. You should be able to see SCB Saadiq branch within 1-2km after that traffic light. It is a corner lot unit.

Just give it a shot but if they ask you for that manual authorization then personally I would not do it. Not because of security but more towards the hassle of doing it. You could ask someone else with a CC to get the item for you then.

i was thinking if can settle by myself then no need kacau ppl to do the payment for me 1st...
they do have bank fund transfer but too bad...the item i want to buy is just RM80.00

Public Bank didn't have "retail" limit for the their debit card.
You have RM1000 but you want to limit to RM500 to control the money, public bank cannot do that. sweat.gif
So please not to put a large amount of money in your Public Bank debit card account.

Not many bank can custom that.
However, every card has a max limit which is usually RM5k or the limit as per ATM withdrawal.
When the bank talks about retail limit, that's what it's talking about. The swipe limit; not the limit that a customer wants to limit themselves to which as I explained; not many banks can custom that.

Oh really, glad to hear that,So just apply it online. Lazy to go to the bank. How do Public Bank charge the annual fee. Is it by deducting the annual fee from your card balance?

About Public Bank Visa Electron
- **An annual fee of RM24
- Free printed monthly statement send directly to your registered address
- May use PB E-Banking
- Cash Rebate (please refer to Public Bank website)

**This annual fee will be automatically waived if you spend more than RM1001.00 per calendar year.

By the way, other debit cards such as AM Bank NextG, EON Bank Embossed Mastercard, MOL, Tune Visa all DO NOT send out monthly statement. You will have to request for one and they will charge you ! But at Public Bank they will send you a statement every month, absolutely FREE OF CHARGE ! You may also register for Public Bank online banking so that you can view your Visa Electron card details such as balance available and recent transactions made. You also do not need a savings account at Public Bank to open a Visa Electron account. They also do not charge you for everytime you deposit money into your Visa Electron account (blood sucker Tune Visa do) via any Public Bank ATMs or Cash Deposit Machines.

I think so, cause ppl can apply even one without a PB saving/current acc.
