About Public Bank Visa Electron
- **An annual fee of RM24
- Free printed monthly statement send directly to your registered address
- May use PB E-Banking
- Cash Rebate (please refer to Public Bank website)

**This annual fee will be automatically waived if you spend more than RM1001.00 per calendar year.

By the way, other debit cards such as AM Bank NextG, EON Bank Embossed Mastercard, MOL, Tune Visa all DO NOT send out monthly statement. You will have to request for one and they will charge you ! But at Public Bank they will send you a statement every month, absolutely FREE OF CHARGE ! You may also register for Public Bank online banking so that you can view your Visa Electron card details such as balance available and recent transactions made. You also do not need a savings account at Public Bank to open a Visa Electron account. They also do not charge you for everytime you deposit money into your Visa Electron account (blood sucker Tune Visa do) via any Public Bank ATMs or Cash Deposit Machines.

Oh really, glad to hear that,So just apply it online. Lazy to go to the bank. How do Public Bank charge the annual fee. Is it by deducting the annual fee from your card balance?

I think so, cause ppl can apply even one without a PB saving/current acc.

Hi,
Got a question for you having a PUBLIC BANK saving/current acc. to top-up money to their Visa Electron DB. I have fill out the form at the counter linking the card to my PB saving account for internet banking (PBE)

But i just can't find the options at PBE to transfer money from my savings to Visa, if it is under Transfer Fund->own acc. but the only option i can see is transferring money frm visa to savings but not vise versa. Then i try look around transfer fund- 3rd party at PBE, i registered my visa card acc. at the Favorite 3rd Pary. but when i click again at registered Fav. 3rd party transfer i got a error message "This request could not be executed.
Please register accounts" but i just did that previously. Finally the last option i see is to transfer money using a Open 3rd party acc. but i am still not to sure this is the correct way to transfer money? so how one transfer money to your Visa Electron using PBE?
Got it!..its under Fund Repayment doh.gif

Question 2, How to top up using a PB ATM deposit machine? I have yet still received the pin no. can it be done without the using the card pin no.? or i have to wait. Thx for your help.

PB debit card can be applied through their website. But, I don't know what are the procedures after that.

print the online registration form, jot down your signature. Attach a photo copy of yr IC together with the form & mail/fax it to them. 2-3 weeks siap!

Yeah I already got the e-banking applied, but after I log in I can only see my savings account, when I click on the debit/credit account it says that I dun have such an account yet sad.gif

So right now I still cant transfer funds from my savings to the PB visa....

from yr previous post i assumed you just call them to link to yr PBE acc.? if tomorrow still no result its better you go to the PB branch and fill up the form yrself cause i remember have to sign a couple of paper for their references. FYI I apply in the afternoon, by 7pm that day i can transfer funds frm my saving to DB already. Just go to the CS counter ask for form to linked yr Visa Electron to your PBE acc.
