Alliance Bank's website link at http://www.alliancebank.com.my/debitmaster...ndard_more.html, http://www.alliancebank.com.my/debitmaster...tinum_more.html and http://www.alliancebank.com.my/debitmaster...emium_more.html stated that users are not allowed to perform internet transaction with Standard, Premium, and Platinum version of their debit MasterCard.

Have you ever enrolled your RHB card for MasterCard Securecode or Verified By Visa?

Hi...anyone heard of Discover Card before? Is it another option instead of Visa & Mastercard? If I apply a Discover debit card, can I use it at Malaysia & withdraw it at MEPS supported ATM? As I know, we can withdraw cash from any Union Pay acceptance mark ATM, so I would like to know that Union Pay ( a.k.a CUP or China union Pay ) included in MEPS?

Please don't ask me why I apply for the card, your answers & comments regarding to my question are appreciated happy.gif

Would you mind to tell us that you applied your Discover Card from which bank or which issuer?

At the traffic light junction (coming from KL) into 1Utama, turn left. You should be able to see SCB Saadiq branch within 1-2km after that traffic light. It is a corner lot unit.

Just give it a shot but if they ask you for that manual authorization then personally I would not do it. Not because of security but more towards the hassle of doing it. You could ask someone else with a CC to get the item for you then.

FYI, I went to a great extent to PDF and watermark my details when I sent it over manually and that is the last time I'm doing it. There's always the risk although they say it is alright ... why worry when you can choose not to take the risk now ?

Should be , check the age limit for it . If you could buy it over the counter i am sure that its possible

Some cards would do fine and others don't - such as Maybank , Public Bank as you have to be 18 years old or older

Will not work , forget it. Its clearly stated for electronic use only , meaning that conventional method of calling the bank for verification doesn't work. It has to be 'instant'. On top of that maybank debit card doesn't work if you dont have the card with you , you need to have the card (physically) present at the time of payment - without it it wouldn't work. This is why things like paypal , booking tickets @ airasia do not work

Why dont you just pay via bank transfer or something. They do have maybank2u right. Then use that , its much more easier that way

I thinking of getting a debit card too, but I have some question

PB Visa Electron seems to be the best choice currently since it can be use with paypal withdrawal and online transaction right?

Then how about PB ING Debit MasterCard Paypass Card?? Can it be used with paypal withdrawal and online transaction?? The added Paypass feature would be cool tongue.gif

And what about the Tesco-RHB Debit Card?? Can it be used with paypal withdrawal and do online transaction??
