Already post link model from lyn

Panasonic VIERA TH-L32C4K

Installer say worry no image, did not proccess it
No need 4k content, just not sure 720p astro box got display or not
*

Besides Astro box, what other HDMI devices you would connect to that TV?
Unifi TV box? Gaming consoles? Blu-ray player?

If worse comes to worse, use HDMI splitter to bypass the HDCP, then it'll solve the problem.

When you first set up the box, you are given the choice to set it to ouput either 1080p or 4K. Choose 1080p and the box won't look for HDCP 2.2. I know because I used a non 4K TV with HDCP 1.4 to first set up the box at my office when it first arrived.
*

Let's say now you set the Ultra Box as 1080p output resolution.
Now you tune to UHD channel 549, you will still see HDCP 2.2 error message if the Ultra Box is connected to a non-HDCP 2.2 compliant display.

If possible, try connect your Unifi TV box via HDMI port to your Panasonic TV.
If you're able to view the live TV channels without seeing any HDCP errors there, then using Astro box shouldn't be a problem.

Well the question was could the user use the ultrabox with a non 4K, non HDCP2.2 TV, which the answer is yes. Since the said person is using a non 4K TV, one would assume he won't actually be trying to watch a 4K channel.

Elsewhere in Hong Kong: Hong Kong Broadcasting Company TVB Will Allegedly Be Laying Off 200 Employees.

QUOTE
If you like watching Chinese shows, there is no way you’ve not heard of TVB. Otherwise known as Television Broadcasts Limited, TVB is a major television broadcasting company located in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, the company recently revealed some bad news. On 24th March, TVB’s Chief Executive Officer Thomas To Hui (许涛) announced that TVB would be laying off 5% of its employees, which will reportedly affect about 200 TVB staff members. This is to allegedly make up for the loss sustained by the company at the end of last year. TVB revealed last week that they had lost HK$790 million to HK$830million (~RM445 million to RM468 million) at the end of last year. This was allegedly more than the previous year when they totaled a loss of HK$647 million (~RM364 million). The company also reportedly chalked up their loss to weak advertising sales and depreciation in current investments. As such, Thomas stated that they will be letting go of 5% of their employees, estimated to be around 3907 people. This is allegedly to save them over HK$200 million (~RM112 million) in annual operating expenses. TVB will also allegedly be restructuring their human resources for their cost optimisation plan. This unfortunately affects their programs. Thomas added that shows which do not reach meet expected ratings and economic targets will be cut. TVB is also allegedly planning to reduce outsourcing workers and look internally for resources to keep to their budget. Thomas claimed that the decision had not been an easy one for TVB. However, it was part of their duty in managing the company and ensuring the funds were correctly distributed. Thomas added that he believes the move is necessary to continue competing in the market.

Analysts cut earnings forecasts for Astro, softer demand expected ahead
https://www.theedgemarkets.com/node/661035
QUOTE
Its net profit declined from RM126.59 million for 4QFY2022, on lower earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, due to higher contest and broadband costs, offset by lower staff-related and merchandise costs.
QUOTE
“Astro has done much to turn the group around, acquiring many excellent streaming platforms, launching Astro Fibre and addressable advertising.

Research houses cut Astro’s target price after poor FY2023 results

QUOTE
“This initiative (to focus on adoption of Ultra and Ulti Boxes) is expected to impact the group at the balance sheet level, due to higher capex with the adoption of new technology and higher depreciation on shorter life spans for its existing equipment,” it added.

Low viewership channels to be ceased, yes.
And also, we can expect that Astro will become more and more desperate in wanting to earn more money, but at the same time, don't want people to hate Astro too much.

Yes I do.
That's Astro Addressable Advertising, where one of the things they do is, they can slot in unskippable ads before and during On Demand playback and also on Astro Go.
https://quake.com.my/aaa

Why? You want to advertise your product by bombarding ads onto our On Demand playback? 😐

Base on your situation, what I can understand of the logic: Astro is control it on the backend side (Database), for sure is will no have a solution. Nothing can by pass this algorithm/logic since is from Astro side. Unless modify APK source code.
