I already got back my 7300GT but not sure what i am going to do with it. Most probably sticking it back to my 2nd rig for the moment..Already got the 8800GTS from a forummer. Now on the verge of testing it. Just finish reformat my PC and install the driver. Will be testing it on benchmark later..

For now, its idling at a crazy 62c..

first u have to ask them : have u scratch some pin on the bottom of the PCB with 2B pencils?

Just so u dont get deeply dissapointed by those benchmark scores............. the scores with AMD dual core is really lauya. BUT dont worry bout it. It's not at all indicative of how good ur rig is for real games.

There r fellas with C2D E6300 n single 8800GTS with higher scores than my rig at 3DM06. When it comes to real gaming though, the E6300 n 8800GTS rigs cant even smell smoke. So dont bother about benchmarking.

Hey. Just got my evga 8800 gts superclock 320MB. The card is working great but I cant seem to adjust the fanspeed from stock 60%. Rivatuner doesnt seem to change it and the fan control is greyed out in ntune. Any ideas guys?

LOL..Yea, i got the point there. I saw plenty of people having crazy score on 3D Mark03/06 and when i test it on my own PC, my 8800GTS scored around 23k+ on 3D Mark03 with everything on stock..Seems too low though..LOL..

Anyway, cant seem to view the 3DMark06 online though.Keep on asking me to view online but saying not found..gosh..

btw, temperature for 8800gts idle is around 60C ark ?

one vote for galaxy 8800GTS if same price. 55C is the average idle temp i guess

Non OC version, go for Palit.Save yourself the extra RM100- RM150 as most of them are as off reference..

My MSI 8800GTS 320MB OC is idling at around 58c - 60c..

all 8800 r reference cards... if can get palit get palit lor as long as ur local support for that brand is good enuf...

Use Firefox to view the 3DM06 results if IE dont work. It's lidat sumtimes

Ok, i need some clarification on this one.

Using everest ultimate, There's four sensor on the gpu temperature, namely
GPU
GPU diode
GPU Memory
GPU Ambient

so, now ur saying it's idling at 58c-60c, so this temperature is which temperature?

im guessing it as the GPU temp, not the other 3, am i rite?
