Gear of War more suitable for console IMHO. but if available for pc, why not? seem like Only On X360 is totally crap nowadays. many of their hits ported. most recent ported Xbox games i can recall is Jade Empire.

QUOTE(obefiend @ May 18 2007, 02:04 AM) woooppsss...cellfactor already out. and its free can play whether got the physX card or not. there's even custom file to redirect PPU instruction to CPU, so physX not needed. *sorry for my blindness. already mentioned @akachester get 86GTS. can use additional power via 6pin. more OC headroom This post has been edited by toughnut: May 18 2007, 01:54 PM |

@Phoenixwunin
your noisetaker can handle it. if it's 8800GTX, i think still can IIRC. if HD2900XT, i doubt it. in Computer Power User (CPU) magazine, they setup SLI 88GTX using corsair HX620W!!! actually tats over load the capacitors in the PSU. bad in long run. |

QUOTE(akachester @ May 19 2007, 08:31 AM) Guys, would the 8600GT be able to support uber high resolution on 22" Widescreen LCD? I have seen review stating that gaming with the 8600GT is good enough on 1240 * 1024 resolution etc and anything higher is almost unbearable. So, if i am going to purchase a 22" LCD in the future, would getting the 8600GT be a wise choice? for me, even 7900GT OCed still cough on 12*10.for 22in, 8800GTS 320MB is recommended. for 24in, 8800GTS 640MB for 30in, 8800GTS SLi or 8800GTX/GTX ULtra for 30in and beyond, SLi 8800GTX?GTX Ultra |

@kmarc
500W is enough for your setup. IMHO, power requirement for 8800 series are overated, so as quadcore. if not mistaken, power consumption of quadcore almost on par with old pentium 4 EE presshot |

weird. in this test, 400W enough for OCed E6600 + SLi 320M 8800GTS OCed.
http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticl...537&articID=574 IIRC, SLi 8800GTS OCed consume more wattage than stock 8800Ultra (even if OC). and thats with 400w psu. *i really don't recommend doing so |

@TomatomanzSeedlezz
it's barely fit. for 8800GTX, won't fit at all unless HDD cage removed http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=908610&page=27 |
