Gyus,
my HyppTV setop box broken, with my current contract expireing in 2019. Whats my option now? Dont really watch hypp TV, but used the box for normal Free-toAir, NTV7 & 8tv, cause my antenna sucks |

Can call to TM to ask them to update it.QUOTE(JohnLai @ Apr 30 2018, 08:27 PM) Wait.....shouldn't TM replace the decoder free of charge as hypptv was bundled with internet package as long as customer still subscribed to the service? The only equipment that is lifetime warranty is the BTU. All others are only 1 year warranty.Similar to Astro subscribers. This post has been edited by OKLY: Apr 30 2018, 08:39 PM |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Apr 30 2018, 08:39 PM) With the forced bundling of hypptv...and MCMC allows such practise? I think there is a rule saying broadcast providers which rely on monthly subscription (such as Astro and MYTV [paid subscribers in future]) must replace the decoder free of charge as long as customers still subscribe to the service. The only exception is Astro NJOI. I wonder if TM fall under broadcast provider definition with its hypptv.... Maybe someone should write to mcmc and ask for clarification? EDIT: Not to mention unifi contract = 2 years And the warranty for both decoder and router only 1 year? This post has been edited by JohnLai: Apr 30 2018, 09:10 PM |

I would ask my router able fully support 100mbps? It can support it, but maybe not on 2.4GHz. You will need to go to 5GHz to enjoy the full 100Mbps speed. |
