today finally receive call from TM about 50mbps upgrade to 100mbps with extra rm20 and wht the stuff told me my currently router d-link 850L no need change or any technical ppl come to my house just need to restart router when receive sms. I would ask my router able fully support 100mbps?

Applied for the raya pormotion on last Friday 8/6 , sent me an email saying that will contact me within 3 working days ... till today yet nobody contact me

Called them yesterday push here and there , tell me you better go TMpoint apply and faster , your housing area left only 2 empty ports , went 2 branches not open (understandable due to pre-raya)

Called them up again ask me to wait till next Wednesday after raya , damn pissed off

I think better think twice whether want to upgrade my current streamyx to unifi 30mbps , any comment?

My bill is out but I can't download it yet. However, I can see the total due is lower than previous months.
$185.60 vs $200.34 ($189 + $11.34 GST).
I think they refunded me 9 days worth of GST ie. [9/30] x $11.34 = $3.40.
$189 - $3.40 = $185.60

I don’t mind going over TM Point Uptown to try bug them but 100mbps is overkill since I’m not the one using...

Wrote to tm today  to see if they can adjust price.
If not I’m gonna apply new account, rm139, 30mbs, Ruby, free calls, 2yr contract. At least I save 1.2k over 2 years

STEAL is really offences to others, it's just TM marketing tricks to battle with Maxis Fiber RM139 10Mbps.

But RM129 is without STB and Calls.
RM99 Student is without HyppTV Everywhere also.

SO FYI, price reductions is NOT STEAL, but removed those JUNK BUNDLES ADD-ON...

P/s: By the way, now you can also STEAL BACK to TM, pay RM200 for downgrade 10Mbps RM129, then wait for free upgrade 100Mbps later. It's will STEAL RM200 Monthly   
Your alternative choice is downgrade with pay RM200 to remain the number and line, otherwise subscribe new contract for better offers.

eg. downgrade to lite 10Mbps RM129 monthly, but you will entitled for 100Mbps soon, but saves RM70 monthly.

That means this round of speed upgrades is largely a cosmetic exercise.
Just for show without impacting their bottomline.
That's why no real price reduction.

Me too. I was quite happy to pay RM189 for 100Mbps. 800Mbps even better. Since I don't use Astro, the Ultimate Pack was a really significant bonus. Would I like a price decrease? Of course.

Service wise, I guess I've been lucky. Perhaps my Taman isn't too congested but Unifi quality of service for my area has been pretty much top notch for the last 6/7 years. Service calls, installations are attended to promptly. Granted, I've only had 2 service calls so far, one for a BTU PSU problem and my self-inflicted HyppTV stuttering problem, so it's not much of a sample size. Sure there're hiccups along the way, well, just one, TM took 2 weeks to finalise my +RM10 100Mbps upgrade. I almost didn't get the 100Mbps on the day of installation. Was quite mad about the disorganisation surrounding my upgrade but solved by the end of the day.

Just give streamyx users rm60 10mbps unlimited la...
