So basically an imaginationary allowance, but this is the first time i heard about it
*
not so hard la bro, i take it most of the time...
since i'm not female, not married yet somemore~
so far i only see very few boy staff can get, girl hard to get.

QUOTE(icebryanchan @ Dec 2 2018, 06:50 PM)
i think that is a good idea to tackle with problematic employee, who always take MC for no reason. Moreover it can train the employee to be punctual. First time hear about such allowance too  blink.gif
*
really so rare about this bonus allowance?
yupe, since if you're hardworking you get the bonus~

How does my salary stands?

Also, leaving the company end of next month as it takes a mental toll on me due to toxic environment and people. Currently looking for jobs to start next year as I need some rest time for myself. Ping me if there's any vacancies.
*
Quite a good pay for a 25 nowadays. If I were you I'll ignore those toxic bunch. Cause no matter where you go, as long as the company has more than 10 employees surely will have someone that starts politics and contaminate the peers. Heck even an old company I worked that had only 5 employees and the manager itself started the office politics lol

Hi guys,

Quick question for all the sifus here.

If job change with 15% increments (total package) only, is it worth to jump or not? Doing sales job with no commissions.

[Updated] E.g before is MYR 6070 Future is MYR 7000. Future Employees benefits is slightly lower than before.

Minta tolong for feedbacks....

Thank you sir for the feedback.

I purely got monetary raise only. I actually dont mind lowered annual leaves and phone allowance (-100)

To be exact: now is rm6070, future will be Rm7000, still worth it? sad.gif

I would go for the RM7000 company. Because the next time you jump again, it will be based on a higher salary (RM7000) instead of RM6070. You can get even higher next time.

If he looks correctly he might be able to get 8k elsewhere, jumping from 6K to 8K to a new company is not uncommon.

No, don’t forget by leaving you’ll also lose your seniority. If new company don’t pass your probation how? Leave only when it’s at least 30% more then it’s worthwhile

Industry : Audit, Consulting

I am considering to jump ship after gaining 1 year of experience in big 4. However, I hesitate a bit thinking that jumping company after a year might be an indication of "not loyal". Do you think 1 year is good enough?

And is 3000 remuneration a good starting point for my career?

To be honest 1 year of experience is not enough for you to learn enough, I would say 2 years before the next jump would be ideal.

Given that the increment in B4 is pretty low, do you think that moving on to a new company with B4 experience in my resume would offer a huge boost in my salary ?

3000 is quite good. My starting pay back then as fresh grad is even worse.

Agree with coolguy, increment in B4 is pretty decent. what matters is whether you can tahan B4 long working environment only.

Currently I’m in Associate position where I need to climb from
AA1 (me currently) to AA2 and then to Senior Associate

I heard increment from AA1 to AA2 takes about roughly 10% while AA2 to Senior Associate can go up to 4.3-4.5

Best case scenario would be achieving to Senior Associate within 2 years but I wonder if I switch to another company when I’m AA2 would a be better path. 🤔

Overall I can endure the “long” working hours since I don’t mind leaving early from work and continuing my work at home.

Employment Level : Executive
Experience before joining (years) : 4 months
Highest paper qualification/ education background : Degree in Software Engineering
Location : Shah Alam
Average Working Hours Per Week (incl lunch hours): 40

Monetary Payout
Basic Salary : RM 3271
Contractual Bonus (months): 1 mths

Benefits (where relevant) :
Health Benefits : Company medical claims
Transport Benefits : none
Mobile / Internet / Gadget Benefits : none
Flexi Working Hours : none
Other Benefits : claimable like on site for mileage, tng or etc related to normal working hour

Am i under pay? Considering currently I am being assigned to do the field that is totally not related to me. Company did not plan to hire the relevant employee specialize in the particular field while force me to take the field. If by positive thinking, additional knowledge would be advantage for future me, but is it worth? Also, on hand project there is 4 on going that need to implement where I do solo most of the time. (Because short of manpower, and skillset)

I am hesitating to resign due to waiting for the position raise. As for the resign reason, I find out that, one of my junior salary pays way higher than me and he is sleeping most of the time during working hour, a bit cannot accept that.

What is your opinion? Should I stay to wait or should I look for other job opportunities? Although, I am happy to work with the current boss, however deep down, am I being treated unfair.

If I were you, I'd wait for the coming increment, if the increment is less than 20%, resign.

Fresh graduate of software engineer in Penang in 2018 can hit RM3400 for non-first class honor and RM3600 for first class honor. You should expect at least RM100 or RM200 more since you are working in Shah Alam and somemore your company is a MNC.

I'm first class honor and having multiple high level knowledge for my field, even now I am forced to do OT and the policy here did not pay OT to employee. Increment 20% is low no? What are the percentage of salary increment request when one person hop to another company?

But what if, the coming increment is less than 20%, immediately resign wouldn't affect the next company salary demand? Normally, it suppose required at least 3 months after the increment to consider the solid salary no?

hopping to another company general rules (from all the gossips from my seniors and colleagues):-
MNC to MNC = 10% at least
MNC to small company = 10%-50% (any rate can happen if the small company boss really loves you)
small company to MNC = 20% at least

but many factors apply too, like what your current skills can contribute to the new company. one of my friends got offered from 3.3k to 4.5k to a new company, because the new company is doing the exact same job scope as his old one. note that he only worked a year after graduate.

for "solid salary", really depends on company, my colleague just got increment to 3.7k a month ago, and he went to interview recently, got offered by new company, based on his current salary, he is given 4.4k offer.

if the next company is really good, less than 20% is still considered ok.

At same salary, I would rather work in a new company than "NO OT pay, heavy workload and underappreciated".

P.S. : There are so many bad companies out there. We should always keep on exploring from time to time, to know how far our value can go. Many bad companies love to bully their workers by giving them low pays because they know majority of their employees are afraid to leave their comfort zone. I believe based on your experience and job location, you should at least get 4k for now. Good luck. #SayNoToBadCompanies

Increment of 20% at your salary range is considered high. I remember during my first job as fresh grad due to my exceptional performance I got 20% increment too, that is considered high as my fellow colleagues only get 10%.
