The transfer speed demand already outstripped what usb2.0 can provide since long. Somehow we are still stuck with usb2.0, although there are already super fast buses like usb-c, thunderbolt & pcie.

I had the same problem when transferring big files like HD movies to my phone, it got disconnected halfway, always. It’s so frustrating.

Yes, kind of shame that Apple is still staying at USB 2.0. Especially for such a high end phone and high capacity phone.

With the maximum theoretical speed of 480Mbps for USB 2.0, 256gb of iPhone X will take about 1 hour 20 minutes to transfer all data to pc.

MacBook Pro 2016/17 has USB-c with thunderbolt 3.

on the side note, I have a solution to your problem...upload to Googledrive, select compressed video/photos options, upload and download it back, voila...
not exactly the most pragmatic way to do it, but it works without headache, at least for me.... tongue.gif

Too troublesome to do so. I have this amount of photos + videos on my iPhone X now. And this number grows daily.

Given the size plus the pathetic upload and download bandwidth for bolehland broadband. It is totally not feasible to do so.

The free tier cloud storage is not even big enough to store all my files even I want to do so.
This is also the reason why I choose 256gb because I have so much data to manage.

dun think u can fix a degraded battery. u can only hope that your battery continue to degrade further until the level that Apple will replace ur battery within the warranty period. There is a fixed number of percentage of battery wear needed before they replace it.

OH! Then I guess hopefully the battery deteriorates within the next year. Lol.

Not noticing any issues with data connection or the 2 apps you mentioned. Maybe your phone has hardware issue?

My wife's X running on maxis has no issues, too. Maybe you can bring your phone to a service centre to check? Or try the Apple Support app

It's a Live Photo. You can download it from the net and assign it as lock screen wallpaper.
After that just 3D press your phone while in lock screen and the wallpaper will animate.
Just done a quick search online and this probably have that this app probably have that kind of live wallpaper.
