QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Mar 21 2018, 12:17 PM) Nope... when i open google map or uber app, the location showing in the map was not updated. For example, it still showing the places that i last visited probably few hours or one day ago. It only happen if i use data connection only with wifi and bluetooth turn off. |

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Mar 22 2018, 12:43 AM) Strange. I don’t allow Uber/Grab/GoogleMaps to use background refresh but my current location is shown in less than 1-2 seconds when I launch the app after a day or two. If you have WiFi turn on should be no problem. It will update within few seconds. My data is always on and so are wifi (lazy to turn off) and bluetooth (need it for my Garmin watch). QUOTE(attw @ Mar 22 2018, 08:05 AM) Yes, thats the way to go for now... no choice |

QUOTE(Kincopper @ Apr 24 2018, 04:03 AM) QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 24 2018, 07:09 AM) Could be network issues ? Try enquire from Maxis ? If persists do try to change your simcard . Or try with another Telco card to discount off hardware problem on phone. QUOTE(attw @ Apr 24 2018, 08:15 AM) I'm on maxis too and haven't had any issues with connectivity. Maybe give them a call or pop by one of their branches to change your SIM card. If it still doesn't work then do a backup and factory reset your phone. Thanks for the advise guys! i will go to change the SIM card later, hope it will help ! |

QUOTE(Criollo @ Apr 24 2018, 09:36 AM) Not sure if this is a phone or telco issue, but i've encountered the same issue as you, usually at night. Its occurred twice before and I've thought nothing about it as Digi's network kaputs sometimes. Not always but it happen to me randomly or from location A move to location B. sometime on off airplane mode not gonna to help, i have to restart the phone then in order to have the connectivity back. Now that you've mentioned it, i guess i should pay more attention when it happens next time I already done factory reset , but it didnt help much. |

QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Apr 24 2018, 10:51 AM) i guess it should be maxis network issue then. did you make a report to maxis yet? QUOTE(chiahau @ Apr 24 2018, 10:52 AM) Happens to my Celcom occasionally as well. yes i always encounter this kind of issue when i use celcom last time. Suddenly no messages are coming in. After I restart the phone only all message floods in. I believe it's some intermittent network issue. |

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ May 22 2018, 03:48 PM) Mine makes the pop sound as soon as I press send. On Celcom here btw. WhatsApp background refresh is enabled and Low Power Mode is not enabled. I'm using Maxis. At first i thought it was Maxis network issue but i tried DiGi as well... it still the same. Which telco are you on? Same problem when on wifi? WiFi seem ok so far, only happen in data connection |

QUOTE(kayclum @ May 29 2018, 03:24 PM) after u mentioned that was maxis issue, i think other user who using celcom and umobile don have issue for this.hmm I have friend using X with umobile, no problem. one question, is it happened the same when u using wifi? Its happen only when i use data connection only, if connected to wifi, no such issue. QUOTE(attw @ May 29 2018, 03:49 PM) I tried DiGi sim card its the same. Only Celcom no issue on whatsapp. Beside whatsapp, i notice when i click on those news link in facebook it take a while to load (5 to 8 seconds) before show up the content. Sometime happen to AppStore also. |
