Alcantara wrap to test water, adding slight touch for luxury or ugliness(subjective). Was told that the material is same as mercedes alcantara.

Alcantara is like velvet?

Ya sort of.. I guess, it's like the fabric house sofa. Most luxury sports car have alcantara finishes.

Around 500+- i paid slightly extra premium price because i wanted good workmanship and also the alcantara color that i requested it's not in their inventory. Once it's wrap it cannot be undone, it's glued permanently.

Highway drive is nice.. feel planted at high speed yet very comfortable. The cons is.. the car feel very slow to drive at 110kmh. So usually ill drive about 130-140kmh... comfortable speed smile.gif Road noise can be a bit loud due the the lousy MC5 tyres. Power is nice.. is always there ..even you push to 180kmh... brows.gif Too bad top speed limit cut @ 207kmh... else i think can go up to top speed 230kmh+.
*
I can't bear with the noise sound when drive above 110km/h,very annoying. My SA told me Msia Honda didn't cut the speed limit unlike Japan(180km/h only, so sad) , our Honda Civic TC can reach 240km/h if I remember correctly.

Dear all,

I owned 1.5 turbo honda civic and I could not start engine just now.

Steering is slightly left turned and locked, and the brake pedal is locked up also. The steering icon next to the temperature meter is lights on.

I tried to turn the steering and step on brake pedal while i press the push start button also cannot start the engine.

Anyone experience this before? I think its due to the steering lock or brake lock, don wish to call tow service for this.

Thanks.

HIP means, if your car is total lost, or stolen.. insurance will pay the full sum insured amount without prejudice

130 km/h, if you reduce to 120 km/h should can do much better. Anything above 110 km/h you waste a lot power to overcome air drag.
*
Best speed for economy is around 70-90km/h.

Civic 1.5 feels floaty at 130km/h. You guys must be too brave to drive comfortably higher than that.

200km/h on the highway??? Dangerous and Accord brakes are not built to stop well from such high speeds. PLease uprate your brakes before going so fast.

Floaty at 130km/h? Hmm. Pump too much air? Mine I dont feel floaty even driving at 150-160kmh. 150kmh still very comfortable and relax to drive smile.gif I think still depend on individual.

130 is nothing. Must be your tire pressure.
Always cruising around 140-150 in highway
