130 is nothing. Must be your tire pressure.
Always cruising around  140-450 in highway

Best speed for economy is around 70-90km/h.

Civic 1.5 feels floaty at 130km/h. You guys must be too brave to drive comfortably higher than that.
*
Floaty at 130km/h....U should try my saga flx, feels like tyres are missing...lol....anyways,check tyre pressure, civic IS and SHOULD be well planted on road flex.gif flex.gif

I've tried recommended tyre pressure, and I have tried increasing it upwards of 37psi. Still floaty no matter what. Speed >170kmph then start to lose confidence already
*
Should only be 32psi. If higher, confirm floaty coz your tyres are overinflated due to mostly centre portion is gripping the road.

Anyway, it can also be due to MC5. Try to change to PS4 for better grip.

If you’re already using PS4 and the recommended tyre pressure, then maybe you’re just not used to driving fast lol!

Did u read a latest article saying a Honda Civic from JB being stolen but able to recovered due to an hijack alarm system?

I’m curious how can a hijacker able to start the civic without any original smart key?

I do not own any civic now. Do civic has the manual key which can be easily duplicate by anyone (eg during car wash, jockey, servicing, etc) and steal the car? Quite scary I think. Shall we question the Honda? Any sifu here can eloborate?

Last time I saw a video of a Mercedes E class parked out side their house, they just go to the door then amplify the signal from the remote key and started the E class engine and drive off. Maybe same thing?

Question.
My SA offer me body kit from Honda Thailand which cheaper a lot compare to the one made in Japan. Both come with one year warranty, any difference comparing this two?

if the thief managed to invest in such technology then no lock they can't unlock. let's just assume security made by human is always breakable by another human

but in that case, i heard the car is not locked. i didn't watch the video but if that thief want to hijack your car, he will hijack it by any means

Yeah, let me try to find the video and post it here. Guess it is safer to keep your keys in a metal box at home LOL. Avoid these signal amplify tools ._.

There is no foolproof security system. You may be afraid with all these viral videos, but our cars are not the only one stolen - it’s not even in the top 10 most stolen cars in Malaysia.

This is why added supplementary security systems (GPS, brake lock, Card System etc) are a plus, just to guard against any of this happening - worst case scenario, this is also an added benefit of getting the HIP insurance package, at least you’ll get 100% of the agreed insured amount to help cover your losses.

You got yourself a Type-R? Rich man detected! laugh.gif

The small pin is to insert your key to release the gear - In case no battery, and can’t release the gear from “P”.

Hi sifus,

I just got into an accident and would like to seek your advice on which Honda body & paint centre in KL is the best to go to?
1) Sri Utama, Wangsa Maju
2) Kah Motor, Jalan Ipoh
3) Roda BB, Jalan Segambut
I've heard that some Honda centres' workmanship is not so good compared to other workshops. So I'm worried that I'll pick a bad one....

Any input based on past experience would be appreciated please. Thank you.

here is a conundrum

back while in the penang flood,
a fren civic 9 gen is flooded

so in the end, took out the battery

can put the car into neutral, to try move the car

but the problem is the steering lock, without the battery, seems cannot able to unlock
without battery

That chart is based on number of cars... Civic qty won't be as high as Myvi isn't it? =/

Unless the stats based on %... different story.

Technology is made by human and also can be bypass by human. So, Im not shock, people can hack into system. Keyless entry still got its flaw, I see video it is even easier to hack and enter into cars as compared to traditional ancient car key.

Got one video I see on youtube, hackers follow closely ppl that just parking at the shopping complex on foot and amplify the signal, after that come to that ppl car, and drove off.

That is why security supplement such as gps tracking is important.
