perhaps they can based on the uber app estimated time of pick up? but so far it was not so accurate. sometimes longer and sometimes shorter time....

as for the long trip > 40 minutes ping alert notification, heard from some drivers they managed to get a trip to klia despite the ping never highlight that it was long trips.

also when back from airport also never state that the trips was a long trips unless it is > 90 mins. so drivers can't know whether the trips is the rm35 or rm65 trips

Ublur got more short trips from klia such as to Kota warisan, salad tinggi, cyber, putra etc.

> 12 hours a day confirm can get RM200 a day. if not really can throw away dont drive Uber anymore.

Taking Grab for example. HP block X 10 hours enough. With 3 trips per hour is gross RM400 for 10 hours work.
This is a realistic figure considering some blocks will be UP or MP. and sometimes you are only able to do 2 trips per block. on average should be around 2.5 trips per block in a day.

Depends lah, what if he drive 12 hours, but, at those non peak hours to avoid jam?

When I last time drive full time, I start at 11-12pm, and stop for lunch 1-2 hours, then, continue till almost 5pm, start back at 8pm till 1-2am, most of time don't hit rm200 also biggrin.gif

Anyway, that was my choice lah, to avoid morning rush hours, and I am also later riser person...... laugh.gif plus, I emphasized on having dinner with family, something seems very minor for some of you, but, consider luxury for me when working as employee (due to traffic condition and office distance, by time reach home also almost 8pm cry.gif )

Don't be so sure abt Uber oh...
Ppl left because the income is too sucky and pickup location too far, so I'll stay reserved.

They'll deduct your future transaction (once you get a rider that pays CC or voucher)

for riders uber is cheap ride...yet still 95% of the riders keep a big piece of banana stuffed inside their mouths that they dont even have the courtesy to call/msg and tell their exact house number (if pick from housing) or which entrance/exit  (if pick frm shopping) or which shop (if pick from shophouse)...they just keep quiet and driver have to spend money to call and ask them "datuk seri which entrance would you be waiting" ??  Yes the driver can msg them free but while driver to pick them its dangerous to type a msg in the app. I hope riders can read this here

How to message riders with the chat function? Riders can message me, but when I click the message button, the app takes me to SMS.

Touch the button on top right corner, not the one below rider name.

Dont drive uber anymore. Just do Grab. As long as they are people who drives uber, uber still think it has an upper hand and will do as it like with the upfront fares.
