hi there,
selling my dahon P8,
Original spec

Chromoly frame
With built in pump in the seatpost

RM1100

Whatsapp at 0163645220
COD or viewing at Puncak Alam, Near Tesco Puncak Alam

REVIEW
This Speed P8 is ideal for lengthy rides, on tour, as well as weekend exploring. It provides you the identical frame seen on Dahon Speed Uno and Dahon Speed D7. The Speed P8’s rigid Radius handlepost, rigid frame, and plush-riding Streetpac tires provide smooth rides on bad roads. This is the ideal all-purpose folder coming with Dahon’s latest technology, high-quality frame material and components, these kinds of bikes will help you get to the destination with comfort and punctuality.

Speed P8 used to include the Schwalbe Big Apple tires which absorb a great deal of shock.

Featuring a rigid frame along with locking knobs, this is just about the most durable bikes. The folding and unfolding process is so fast and easy, just like most other Dahon folding bikes. Dahon managed to make the bike even lighter than the Dahon Speed D7, however, it is still quite heavy as compared to some other bikes.

The bike comes in two colors, red and white, so many of you might think it is designed for female riders. Not at all. I got the Red version but it is not all red. The bike is a combination of red and black, and this is always one of the best color combination in designing high-end stuffs like cars or designer clothing. While the frame is red, everything else like seatpost, handlepost, wheels come in black, therefore, it looks so gorgeous.

Mine is 16"

I have tried not much difference on park ride but on long distance ride your leg may feel it

Depend on your tube. Presta or schrader valves? Most pumps comes with schrader head and and adapter is needed if using presta.

Smooth folding/unfolding process (after several trials)
Stable, comfort and fast rides

Cons
Heavy

When I said heavy, I mean that the bike is heavier than others. I still managed to carry the bike in Ikea bag from Kelana Jaya LRT station via Masjid Jamek station to TBS both ways.

very limited choice of folding bikes at my LBS that fits my budget of < RM1000

Anyone riding a Polygon Urbano 3? hmm.gif

Saw one selling at Sports Direct @ RM999

Kinda considering it now
How much you bought it? and how's the ride?

Also very tempted to buy a 2nd hand SAAB brand from the Jap 2nd hand junk shop for only RM200, but the repair gonna cost me a bomb laugh.gif
The frame is unique tho, but almost most of the parts need changing doh.gif

That one is i4. The red one is limited version.
Main difference other than colour, is the speed. i8 is 8 speed, i4 is well, 4. Oh, i8 is a lot more pricey hehe

i4 for the price i think is fairly reasonable. considering the fold and current market supply.
