QUOTE(Samurai X @ Jul 21 2007, 01:53 PM) hopefully i'm on correct thread...and i hope this will drive those skinny guys like i was once before; out there, to workout and gained bigger and better shapes. noticeable progress in pic no 2 the first pic was how my body looks like in my 10th weeks of training at home/park, earlier of this year. am around 60 kg then. no weight involved, except my lil' sis noticed the undefined abs/lower abs; effect of more sit ups and minimal legs up; as what i call it. sorry for my poor fitness language. noobie here [attachmentid=264657] and the 2nd one was taken by the same lil' training partner after a day outing. where i just took out my shirt and i just can't believe i was in this shape already! it's on my 150th days of training. over 66kg. after some counter workouts. and the bass guitar are gone forever, replace by 3 bulky lines! thanks a lot to some bruce lee style martial arts workouts. [attachmentid=264658] and one 'still undefine' and lousy bicep shot by myself taken with the equally lousy cameraphone i bought for my lil sis as her incentive. don't be fooled by the size, am a lot smaller than this [attachmentid=264659] had been maintaining at a lil' over 68kg now. i feel this was my body's optimum condition for rock climbing and other cardio sports. feels more confidence/more stamina than ever:cool2: anyway, it's about time to moved into big guys playground; enroll to GYM by myself next january! instead of just hangin' around there with friends. still a lot of workouts need to be done in order to reach bruce lee's shape, let alone zane's and i still need to train the tom's way to get those platz's legs. oh! thanks a lot for the tricep tips, darklight79. it works really well! but my back was still a lot smaller than yours especially your pecs , more nice if its developed more though aiming for Zane's physique ehh?? kinda like my goal Chow. |

does biceps really help much on a wall climb?
i'd think that it's more of triceps, shoulders and lats right? |

QUOTE(bata @ Jul 21 2007, 05:00 PM) noticeable progress in pic no 2 arghhh! i still think my body sucks! especially your pecs , more nice if its developed more though aiming for Zane's physique ehh?? kinda like my goal Chow. whoaa! you like him as well? we're on the same goal then. but i'll be more than happy to have just some shapes here and there. it'll take me ages to get there without those additional supplements and no gym(as where i am so far!) good luck to you, mate! Added on July 21, 2007, 6:21 pm QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Jul 21 2007, 05:26 PM) does biceps really help much on a wall climb? a lil' for speed climbing. other than the 3 parts, most important was the fingers i'd think that it's more of triceps, shoulders and lats right? i found out the the best workouts at home was the cable grip pull/front and any pullups style; be it wide or close. maybe more equipments will be available in the gym and thats why i asked darklight79 for triceps training tips. mine's just hardened and no defination at all. nothing beat the fun of being able to climb up to the highest point and then..... just a parachute on the way back This post has been edited by Samurai X: Jul 21 2007, 06:39 PM |

QUOTE(Syd G @ Jul 21 2007, 10:18 PM) Whoa! Wicked delts! for most ppl, triceps take up 2/3 of arm size. my biceps take up almost 50% I think you and jones have the same problem with triceps - huge shoulders n nice biceps but very little triceps. I is opposite anyway, i don't think triceps is a problem. my lats is a real problem. after gaining a few kg, all body parts grow except my lats |

I seriously do, cuz I've heard how much fun it can be. I'm very eager to try. for starters, you can try the one in 1U. a few celebrities happened to be into wall climbing as well. but that wasn't the main attraction. the fun and satisfaction was! try with the easiest all the way to the hardest routes. since you are into break dancing, bet you hands should have no problem handling 'em. for next climbing trips, am planning to go to victoria, au. there is this mountain that sounds like african name, can't recall what was it already. waiting for the useful information from my buddy there. argh! sorry for being out of topic. back to bb. QUOTE(T+1 @ Jul 23 2007, 02:26 PM) continue out of topic... for 1U, walk-in visitors will have to fill up the membership application form and thick on the membership term as of single visit, prepay for certain months or autopay for a year...can join 1U rock climbing on per entry basis? last time i went there, it requires to join by package. alternatively, you may try the summit climbing gym in the summit, usj. they usually charge around 14 bucks per entry. as usual, you need to agree to the t&c natural trek usually offer a lot more fun but they require higher level of endurance and guts |
