how come my internet explorer cannot install flash player one? I keep on install but still cannot use.

WINDOWS VISTA GADGETS - do you know there are loads of really cool gadgets for Vista... I'm not referring to the defaults cause those suck. Go to Vista Gadget page to download them.

To list a few fun ones: Vodoo Doll, Calvin and Hobbes, Dilbert, Garfield, Jewel, etc.

My Vista cant see the other 2 XP.But the other 2 can see each other but cant join game...

Those are not close to being cool. 3rd party Gadgets that are not realeased on the live galleries are the best

em.. did DreamScene really pause while gaming??

I try and notice that when DreamScene is set as my wallie... my CnC3 has a very noticeable lag...

Dreamscene access disk and memory at most of the time. It is advisable to stop DreamScene if you want to play game.

But I think it automatically stop lar, I have no issue playing any heavy 3D games with DC on. And what I notice is, when I open up something full screen. Since Vista's effect is like 3D and will show the windows being extended to entire screen, I can cearly see the DC getting paused at behind.

Again... it really depends on your rig config. However, looking at your rig config, it seems OK. Maybe increasing your ram to 2 GB would help increase your performance by leaps and bounds > while you're at it, why not even try 4 GB

I think my Vista screw up on me again... just like what it did before I reformat...

oh well.. it's not like I'm dying to use the DreamScene anyway... still waiting for the more astonishing wallie as my DC.


Yup... my rig do gives me lots of trouble in Vista... at first I'm thinking of upgrading my ram to 2GB -> RM300 onli... but suddenly decided to upgrade my whole system to C2D... now already spend RM4500 for it. Still waiting some stuff before can fully assemble it though...


Let see... while I am at it.. why not upgrade to 4GB rite??

Tell me... using Vista 32-bit... will I really benefitted from using 4GB RAM?? Coz if I'm not mistaken.. onli 64-bit has support of more than 2GB... anyone can clarify me on this??

32 bit has only up to 3GB supported. 64Bit can support up to 128GB. Thus using a 4GB ram on a 32bit Vista is useless

like that no use larr... better stick with 2GB...

I can see your have a good rig for vista, enough ram and strong G-card. Is that anything wrong with the vista you install?

I think my Vista installation do have something to contribute to this. First time install... some program didn't work as hoped and I can't connect to any mIcrosoft site. Then I reformat and up until now no problem except the DreamScene thingy which I wasn't sure whether it is becoz of whether my Vista has some problem or DreamScene is intended to act like that... but there is nothing wrong with anything else in my Vista for now...

Someone please help me. I am using Windows Vista Ultimate Retail Full 32-Bit Version. I got all the drivers installed such as the video and sound driver. Then I downloaded Halo Trial from Microsoft. When I installed it and tried to play it there is sound but the sound is cracking (there are skips in between each sound), its like my computer is lagging but it's not. I downloaded the latest drivers from ASUS also because I am using the sound card that is intergrated with the motherboard. My motherboard is P4P800 and the sound driver is Soundmax Audio Driver. I tried installinh the game on the same PC but on Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 with all the same hardware configuration and it works perfectly with perfect soung. Please note: I have multiple O/S on one system. Thanks in advance.

v7.8.5.0 or later should support Vista

Anyway, managed to *make* my Windows Vista Home Premium to support dreamscene, don't ask me how, go google Nothing really special other than slowing down the startup and consuming more resource. It is cool, but whether or not it is worth the price, you take the call

i got problem with vista asking for USB driver all the time new device is installed...

eventhough all the product is plug & play....

mouse, keyboard, pendrive ... basically ALL USB DEVICE

i know there is a bug in vista somewhere,..... i've deleted the INF file...but still no go...

any tips?
