Someone please help me. I am using Windows Vista Ultimate Retail Full 32-Bit Version. I got all the drivers installed such as the video and sound driver. Then I downloaded Halo Trial from Microsoft. When I installed it and tried to play it there is sound but the sound is cracking (there are skips in between each sound), its like my computer is lagging but it's not. I downloaded the latest drivers from ASUS also because I am using the sound card that is intergrated with the motherboard. My motherboard is P4P800 and the sound driver is Soundmax Audio Driver. I tried installinh the game on the same PC but on Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 with all the same hardware configuration and it works perfectly with perfect soung. Please note: I have multiple O/S on one system. Thanks in advance.

Someone please tell me how to go to the sound props panel. I can't seem to find where is it. Please don't tell me to update the Soundmax Audio Driver as I have already done it. Thanks in advance.

Hey outdoorxplorer, I am using the soundcard that is intergrated into the ASUS P4P800 Motherboard. I am using the Soundmax Audio Driver that comes with the motherboard disc but I updated the driver from the Internet after I installed it from the disc. BTW: I am using Windows Vista Ultimate RTM6000 Retail Full 32-Bit) Trying to play Halo Demo. Got sound but the sound is cracking. Someone please help me, I have been trying very long to fix this issue. I have tried this game with the exact computer specs but on Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 and it works great (great graphics and sound).

No this is not a case of dispatibility I think because I Soundmax Audio Drvier is fully Windows Vista (someone told me that) certified and it works well on my PC and there are no bugs or glitches. Please someone tell me how to fix this because it is still unsolved.

That was what I wanna type just now. Thanks mystical zero for helping me type that. BTW: Another way you can do that is by using the Disk Cleanup in the Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup (cleanmgr is actually almost the same thing I think).

Hey CKC_1, Windows Vista does support up to 4GB and above on the 64-Bit one. But I think you are using the 32-Bit version of Vista. Therefore, Vista is reading it as only 3.5GB which is the maximum Vista 32-Bit supports (correct me if I am wrong).

Added on June 6, 2007, 6:59 pmHey ongoky, I don't think he has a previous version of Windows or any other OS installed because he said that he managed to save 30GB. So it means that it was the shadow copies. And I thought you can change the percentage of HDD space a shadow copy consumes.

I am not sure la. I read about it somewhere that you can go into the system files and then change the amount of HDD space the shadow copies consume. BTW: How do you turn of your shadow copying. I just wanna know how to delete all the system restore points. Thanks in advance.

Added on June 8, 2007, 4:59 pmHey Humping^Panda, I did this not sure whether is this what you wanted me to do but I couldn't find the Tab Enhancement. I did this:
Start > Control Panel > Under Hardware and Sound > Sound > And I was stuck here. I couldn't find any Tab Enhancement. I only had Playback, Recording and Sounds Tabs. Thanks in advance. PLease specify the exact way to go there. I already Googled it up but found nothing.

If not, someone please tell me the URL to get the latest Sounmax Audio Driver. Please. BTW: I tried updating the firmware from the properties of the Soundmax Audio Driver from Device Manager and Windows said that there are no more updates available. Added on June 10, 2007, 8:59 pmOkay, now I got another question. I found this website http://dreamscenevideo.net/blog/ which lets you download free high quality Dreamscene videos. I just wanna know whether that these free Dreamscene videos file formats are .dream and can I set it as my Dreamscene video because the default Dreamscene video format is .mpg. Thanks in advance. I am using Windows Vista Ultimate.
