bump bump. need some advice.

age:27
height:172cm
weight:84 kg.

routine:
monday-yoga
tuesday-tkd class
wednesday-gym
thursday-gym
friday-tkd class
saturday-sumtimes gym
sunday-lazy day

cutting down on carbo for the moment. planning to add jogging once i get a reliable jogging companion namely a german sheperd doggie ehhe

u guys think i'm overdoing the exercise?

Actually carbo is not that matter much , most importantly is calories in calories out . But I guess with ur active lifestyle , as long as your diet is normal and clean , bet u gotta lose weight fast.

I go to gym 5days per week ,

monday-gym (weight training)
tuesday-gym (cardio)
wednesday-gym (weight training)
thurs-rest or gym (alternate) (cardio)
fri-gym (weight training)
sat-gym or rest(alternate) (cycling class 1.5hour)
sunday-rest or gym if free. (cardio)

my weight and height same as u but I'm 18 this year. So, should have no problem losing down the weight , all the best mate !

"overdoing the exercise" is subject to ur diet, rest & sleep and duration of exercises. so as long as u feel energetic, then u r fine icon_rolleyes.gif

hmmm gym i lift weights. and train with sandbag for around 15 minutes.then the rest weights train bicep, tricep,chest,shoulder and waist

I heard that usually when ppl go for diet, they only consume either "oats" or "sweet potato" for their daily meals. Those two things can make you feel full but at the same time, dieting. Is is true ?? My fren told me she ate oats every day for breakfast and dinner. Then lucnh, she eats rice like normal. And she said her waist is smaller now and she is indeed thinner now. What about sweet potato??? I thot sweet potato has lotsa starch and it's fattening ?? Correct me if i'm wrong biggrin.gif.

I know my BMI is normal but I just want to have a nice body shape.
My diet? Normally no breakfast, too rush for me. Lunch? Either sandwiches or pao, sometimes when I have time, fried kuey teow or nasi lemak or eco rice. Dinner, depends do I have time to eat or not. I am quite busy with my work. So not much time for me to do any exercise. But my work need to walk around, sometimes run too. I was thinking to try out swimming but so far no time for it yet. So any better way for me to get a better shape? Cut off food? I do not know why do I look chubby/ fat with current weight and height. Help please sad.gif sad.gif

1. 24 yrs old, 61kg,168cm,BMI 21.6
morning: cereal, kuehtiew soup,chinese tea,aft: veggie, milo oat, nite..spirulina+soy powder drink, a bit of veggie and meat or soup.
Replace rice, bread, kueh with beehoon, kuehtiew
rarely exercise..mayb juz walk steps becauseI'm a teacher.
any comment? my ideal kg is 56kg

身高-100*0.70以下=(你目前的体重)
骨女型,一般上整体都瘦瘦的,上围也较平,看似有点营养不够了

身高-100*0.72=(你目前的体重)
纤瘦型,身材较特出的该是脸较瘦,腰围也小

身高-100*0.75=(你目前的体重)
腰女型,整体的三围都匀称,最明显是腰围有相当显眼的美感

身高-100*0.80=(你目前的体重)
丰满型,三围完美,上围与腰围的比率造成上围看似明显的"丰满"

身高-100*0.85=(你目前的体重)
小腹型,上围看似明显的"丰满"整体的三围中腰有点粗,小腹少许凸出

身高-100*0.90=(你目前的体重)
肉女型,全身整体看似有点多余的肉,如手臂、腰、小腹、大腿

身高-100*0.95=(你目前的体重)
小肥型,全身整体看似有点发胖的感觉,臀部、大腿也较肥大

身高-100*1.00=(你目前的体重)
发胖型,全身整体看似有偏向发胖的感觉,脸圆,手掌多肉

身高-100*1.00以上=(你目前的体重)
肥胖型,你...肥了!人家会叫你肥妹仔!呵呵!


(身高(cm)减100)乘0.7至1.0
看那一个是属于目前的体重

例如:
身高160cm,体重45kg

=(160-100)*0.75
=60*0.75
=45

0.75=腰女型


Added on August 4, 2007, 2:28 pmin english..should go like this:
(height in cm-100)*0.xx=current weight
it more or less help you to know which category you're in..
the ideal weight is the one (*0.75)
example: mine
(168-100)*0.75=51kg--> usually too thin so i added a few kgs

it doesn't actually work that way. people shouldn't be so concern of the weight scale. its all about how u look on the mirror. if u are on the perfect ideal weight of your BMI or wat so ever calculation, but u look shit on the mirror. doesn't that mean u r fit or hot or perfectly balances body wat so ever right?

I know how I looked when I'm 65kg.. wear what also not pretty..broad back, lumps here and there.. any my clothes are XL or large L.
now I'd dropped till 61kg..still heavy but at least the tummy has shrunk..and i look and feel better.. so my next target is 58kg..If i Look best at that weight, I might maintain it.

I just don't know , when I tell my friends about my weight , they just don't believe. Not one of them , most of them don't believe my current weight. WTF? They thought I'm just around 75kg ...swt ,

my tummy is bulging and they still say:" becoz u are tall so it's not that significant". sheezz..what the heck
now i'm 61kg..i feel lighter..and my dress doesnt hang on me that tightly . lol
