How old is too old eh? What is physical indication on the SIM that's compatible with 5G? 5G logo or something?

They talk onsense la, mine on esim also can't get. Also, I just moved to the new lightning mega plan few months ago.

What a scam.

Other telco I tried, digi, yes, u, unifi mobile all straightaway 5G access after insert sim with 5G enabled plan.

I bought originally from prepaid sim on 2012 la. Its over 10 years already. Around 2016 converted to postpaid but not change the sim that time.

This is the third day of my second report, and the CS called me and asked me to restart my phone. She closed my report right after that without verifying with me. Of course, the problem still persist.

I basically gave up on celcom's 5G.. even my friend's postpaid that listed eligible also doesn't have 5G on his phone, what a looser side from celcom. Cs keep saying wait for 5G sms.

I didn't get any SMS at all. Made report with CS and follow up everyday. Took about 4 working days to get 5G.

They even funny. When you call them, they ask you whether have reset network. But problem is, if you need to reset network, you have to end the call only can reset. Then their job is done. One call KPI achieved. After reset also no 5G.

Yes. They simply give answer without proper handling. You tell them you at their PJ HQ also no 5G. They will say 5G not stable yet. Hahahahhaha

I wonder why their technical so weak until cannot find what the root cause of some user unable to get 5G as well as the solution to fix it. So weak? Or purposely control the number of 5G user to save the cost?

Their person in charge higher-up called me just now, apologized on behalf of their customer supports because of the conflicting and illogical answers given. He said it's because the 5G component is not loaded automatically into the system for the eligible users so they are doing it manually now. Same goes for all users who still not getting 5G. He would personally follow up my request and aim to do it within 24 hours or max 48 hours.

Finally they aware of it. This 5G components add-on is actually can be done by batch. But they just refuse to. Or else, they can actually give priority to those who file a report first.

Just ported in from yoodo. The process took about one day.

Now I can use the 5G modem on my phone haha.

I have contacted them the 2nd time since they told me to contact them if I couldn't get 5g after 3 working days. First they told me, I am on old MEGA plan so I have to switch to the new MEGA plan. I am currently on the RM80 Mega plan which is more or less the same as the new MEGA plan and I've checked on Celcom Life, that my plan is 5g ready. Then asked me to give address of where I can't get the 5g signal and asked me to do speedtest also shakehead.gif At the end, they told me they will highlight this matter to their respective team and to try from time to time. No deadline given also when they are going to resolve this doh.gif
