I have to retry a few times then only it is successful to get the display and audio on the tv screen.

Many got theirs installed without paying anything. We both kena slaughtered. But when I complained TM, the installer become scared and say wanted to return the payment. I didnt make them return the payment but asked them to come again and do a casing all around my fibre (which they should have done in the first place).

Charge 1 month in advance. Nothing wrong, look at your previous bills (streamyx) and see how TM charged. If you are not happy, then pay after the due date -loh.

weird

1. i don't have deposit one month.. just partial jun and july bill. which due on 13 july.. Allready paid when receive e-mail billed.. no yet receive paper bill.

2. If no extra , mean "BOGEL " fibre. i'm just add RM60 and some nicer cover up the wired and create a hole a syiling.. if just naked and no hole.. free.
I got the receipt.. for RM60.

He misunderstood. Charge 1 month in advance instead of 1-month deposit.
Paper bill is chargeable at RM2/bill (if I am not wrong), you can cancel the service at MyTM if you don't want.

old streamyz ya got the deposit but .. when i never receive the deposit refund.. same as those telco asking more when quit their service..
i before argue.. what the different between postpaid and pre-paid.. actually non..

I believe it has to do with technicalities. TM does assign different range of phone numbers for different types of service.

For e.g. in my area serviced by TM's TTDI exchange:

PSTN (a.k.a. POTS) phone numbers: 03-772x xxxx
UniFi VoIP phone numbers: 03-773x xxxx

So if your current phone number is 03-7727 7777 and you want to port it to UniFi VoIP service, unfortunately, it cannot be done as dialing the number 03-772x xxxx will route the call to the PSTN network in TTDI.

You can only choose the number from 03-773x xxxx. If you do not like your number, you can request to change to another number within the same range, i.e. 03-773x xxxx, subject to availability, but you will be charged one-time RM25 to change number in your next bill.

what do they mean by "if cable is blocked outside customer's compound" and if cable is blocked within customer's compound?

thought cable is running on surfaces if standard install?

currently using streamyx..

Call 100 and complain and confirm the installer will call you to plead with you. Try and see. But seriously, I didnt take the refund after they offered but I asked them to do an additional work on the wiring.

Yes, after you totally terminate your account. Mine would not be refunded because TM says Im still maintaining the old streamyx number. doh.gif

Means the installers would be trying to persuade you to do a over the roof wiring because it would be harder to go through your walls and into your celling. Then they will try to swindle you for Rm150 workmanship.

This is correct, but before 20 Jun 2017 only.
20 Jun 2017 onwards, PSTN & Streamyx customer can bring the number to be UniFi phone number.

Customer who already using UniFi, and got extra PSTN number (got 1 line unifii + 1 line pstn at the same premise) also can bring the number to be UniFi phone number right now. Can be requested at TMpoint
