Trying to catch you with product that pays higher commission before cheaper packages come in.

Kinda like public transport.
No taxis or buses for long time then suddenly taxis come one after another.
Means cheaper bus ride is close on their tail.

You'd think with everything being computerised these days there would be only one correct way or doing things.
Still you get many different stories from different CS at TM Point.

It's less about the OS than about the horsepower of your CPU.
Websites today are a LOT heavier in unseen code than the old days.

Tm installers are doing installation now. Because they have to wire fibre over the roof back into the living room, they would have to charge Rm200. Are these charges acceptable?
*
Are they running cable through the inside of your ceiling or pulling over the roof?

They just pull the fibre over my roof from the pole (port) at the back of my house to the front of my house. No Casing or anything. Cant go internal because he said my house is renovated. So cant go internal. If go internal also you will see the cable from the kitchen right to the living room. Crazy.
*
If not through ducting inside ceiling but over roof exposed to sun and rain then should be free.
Shouldn't it?

internal wiring is free also. as long as the cable used does not exceed the limit set. if exceed just pay the extra. but free one it is not concealed. so it can be seen. but the free wiring does not including coming down from false ceiling etc. so the wiring is exposed, the black color thin fibre cable. all these are free if u dun request extra work.

if u have existing pipe to your tv area, if the cable can go thru the piping from outside, no extra charges also actually.

my house when i renovated time, got reserve the pipe for the cabling including astro, telephone line, fibre etc that is linked to my house living room tv console area. there is ready ports there for this. this is conceal one of course.

when i installed unifi time, i tot should be ok, but end up my that reserved pipe is too cramp to put in the fibre cable. this could be due to the fact that my astro, i have pvr function, so by default, they got pull two cables from the satellite disc instead of one, end up the pipe is full of astro cables, telephone line. then the fibre one cannot go thru.

end up no choice, they just drill a hole from the outside wall in to my living area, happened to be that the tv console area is next to it, so they just build a fibre point in my living room that wall to connect those wifi router etc.
*
Here's a lesson for us all.
Put in more pipes than necessary (in all rooms).
You never know if you'll need more space in the future.
(In al probability you will)

I think they will still charge you as there is more work to pull wire through pipes than lay inside those white external ductings.
Also I think they will claim extra charges on the basis of installing hidden wiring even if you already paid and installed internal piping.

No wonder they originally gave white cable.
Black is damned ugly.
Unless your wall is also black.

Im using unblock box also. The main reason people buying unblock tech tv box is because of their 1000+ free channels. go and google urself the channels available.

For all other android boxes, no matter how fast they are, still an ordinary android box without any 'special bundled addon'  wink.gif

How is this different from using a cheaper box running Kodi?

I have not tried Kodi, will try i later this weekend. Basically the main difference is the simplicity. No need to add repo and configure any stuff (like Kodi if i am not wrong). Just turn on the box and can watch dy. Like astro. And normally if a channel is down it will be repaired very quickly (but normally it seldom go down)
*
True.

But how long will the servers used by Ubox last?
I read elsewhere some other similar product's free channels already stopped working.

I think better to use cheaper (and more powerful) media players with Kodi

The Beekink product I linked to earlier got better specs at half the price.

BTW, anybody know what is the app that streams the free channels on the Ubox?
