I download for my parent house becos only my Father is using unifi and he only uses it to stream YouTube video and WhatsApp. 10Mbps is more than enough for him since he can never utilise the 30Mbps (upgraded to 50Mbps soon for rm179). Only my Sister weekend will come back and use only but she is also light user. They also do not watch HyppTV.

So rm129 every month saves rm50 for them is actually quite ok.

it depends, if your area has unifi, then it will be fibre

Depending on your area is using fiber or VDSL for unifi.

Plenty, especially those in high rise buildings & non-Unifi area.

At least the upload speed can be considered quite OK for the today standard.

I realized who I am, village people who are considered as low cost area (miskin papa kedana) by TM, so Unifi Lite via VDSL will be my only viable option to enjoy 'high speed' broadband via wired. Anyway, not all people are lucky like you and most of the user in this thread who can enjoy high speed broadband via fibre.

Fibre in my area only limited to the nearest street cabinet which in my case, situated around 600M from my taman (read as village).

But some areas especially near my office cant even reach more than 2mbps with copper. So I think its not viable for some areas.

To waive the existing fixed line rental to become RM1, pls make sure UNIFI and existing fixed line must same owner ya. If not, you need to pay RM25++ for existing fixed line rental

TMPoint Pending also mentioned that many application being rejected. Apparently they only want to target for very few selected location at the moment.

yes....now very hot those interested for RM129 lite need act fast before promotion end or port full..............

I contacted TM customer service...they say it comes in bundle and for unifi lite, only RM149 and the 600 mins voice call must be bundled together..

so now I am a bit confused...if the agents are correct or not? because now agent say can get RM129 without the voice call....
   

I call 100 to check my billing matters. Then I asked them if I can downgrade to the unifi lite. The product department told me this is only for new customer woh. Serious?

This is different from what the TM online chat told me.

Never mind later I am going to TM point to transfer ownership of the unifi to my Father so that my parent house's home line can get rm26 monthly subscription waived and just pay rm1 monthly.

I will ask them also.
