I have a 100Mbps connection but
I can never reach that kind of speed by wifi 2.4ghz. cry.gif
max I can get is around 20-30Mbps only.

I can reach 100Mbps using lan and 5ghz
but many of my devices not compatible.

If you all can get that speed by wifi 2.4ghz
please guide me. Thank you notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

u cant get 100Mbps with 2.4ghz single stream wifi adapter. Mojority devices only come with single stream wifi. All my smartphone and tablet max can get 80++Mbps on 2.4ghz
.
you need atleast 2 or 3 stream 2.4ghz wifi apdater to get 100Mbps. But be noted even if you have more than 1 stream 2.4ghz wifi adpater, if it's far always from the router u cant get the speed u wanted too.
For laptop and PC, u can buy a 2 or 3 or even 4 stream wifi adapter. For smartphone and tablet, than u cant do anything about it as it's the hardware limitation, just stick with 5ghz.

1 have an old 3 stream 2.4ghz wifi usb dongle, and it can get full 100Mbps

This is the speedtest result with 3 streams 2.4ghz wifi usb dongle.

From my experience while using 2.4 ghz so much interfearence from other electrical device. While using 5 ghz.. smooth til the max.. either using lan cable or 5ghz can get full speed. 2.4 ghz sometimes 10-15 mb ..

Hi all,

I would like to ask something, which could also consider Unifi related... biggrin.gif

I am having problem with HyppTV, NTP Server Error, thus, could not sync the system time with server causing no channel is loading.

Detailed description of my problem here, can anyone help?

Was upgraded to 100mbps and now it's back to 50mbps. Online chat didn't help LOL (said it is due to hardware malfunction). Totally bogus and "fantastic" service.

Went to TM Point Quill City Mall this evening, the crowd was huge, big difference with what I have visited back in November last year. laugh.gif

Lots of huge TVs playing HyppTV channels in background, iPads to play and has a PS4 there to kill customers' waiting time. laugh.gif Plenty of chargers to charge your devices while waiting. Bravo I must say for TM Point to have all these facilities. rclxms.gif

Unfortunately, all the number before me were there for termination... sweat.gif I saw everyone with big bags of equipment. sad.gif

I was there to relocate UniFi to my sister's house and they wanna install on Monday itself! However, my sister is only free on weekends, so made appointment for next Saturday. What a long wait huh? laugh.gif

I also asked about the auto-debit, unfortunately I cannot have two active orders at the same time. Only after relocation is done, I can do it... Think again, I might be lazy to drop by again. Let's see. tongue.gif

I'm currently a 50mbps user.

I started using Unifi back in 2011 with 5mbps and 2-3 years back i renewed my contract and upgraded to 30mbps. They upgraded my package, renewed my contract but did not give me a new set of set top box.

Recently they upgraded my package to 50mbps while the set top box is still the one from 2011. I asked for an upgrade to my box but they're asking me to renew my contract again.

I do not want to pay for the new set top box and do not want to renew my contract (why should I?) since they did not gave me a new box when I renewed my contract to 30mbps back then (technically they owe me a box). Can I report to MCMC on this issue and get them to help me upgrade the box?
