Guys I have the DIR-850L router and I upgraded the firmware to 2.08TM recently

Since then I am facing Wi-Fi issues, sometimes it won't work and also few of my older devices can't detect 5GHz Wi-Fi anymore but previously they can detect.

What is the problem ?

any settings required for  Settings>Internet> Service name / Primary DNS all those ?

I have a question, do I need to switch on both router and modem, in order to use my landline (phone) for unifi? Because I can't use my landline when its off. I just need to confirm Thanks.

guys, little confuse here. What is the difference between occ and mytm?

Previously I lived in USJ with the same Huawei router that I got. Wifi upstairs and whole house also OK.

Recently I moved to a much smaller house in Kota Kemuning, same routers and stuff..just pure relocation. After I moved in, the speedtest is the same..but the WiFi signal mcm sial / unstable. Even ground floor go in kitchen it will keep DC / youtube hang. Don't even get me started on upstairs.

I called the Unifi technician, he said nothing he can do.. router problem. Ask me to either call 100 to buy new router from TM (RM200+) or go for better aftermarket ones. Was told that after warranty all the equipment not covered anymore already? how true is this?

What this stuff used for? Do I need to buy this If I wanted TM to install Unifi at my home?

hi, installed modem dir-850l near downstair tv. upstair now have weak wifi signal.

is there an alternative to buy higher power modem to extend coverage? any recommendation?

can use old streamyx modem as repeater to cover upstair wifi?
