I did an online chat with them few weeks earlier asking about the upgrade,  politely of course. Barking them won't help u believe me. Then about 3 weeks later I got the upgrade

Got the upgrade today after filing MCMC report last Sunday, wasn't expecting to get the upgrade this fast as they called me yesterday explaining their "technical difficulty" after I bombarded them on live chat last Sunday and told them I have lodged a report on MCMC (which I did).

Read a few previous pages and you'll get the ideas from some subscribers.

I registered on Saturday's evening and I can relocate on Monday, two days later.
It's quite fast if your new place has UniFi ready.

Nope, I was just lucky, don't apply in such short notice. They said 2 weeks is good enough to apply. smile.gif
Anyway, nobody was at home on Monday, so I pushed to the same week's Saturday.

First time relocation is free, so don't need to pay for anything unless got extra cabling which installer will charge you.

Hi guys,

Just installed unifi today. Weird thing is, the technician used my existing Maxis Fibre modem and didnt give me the TM modem. He said since I already have the Maxis modem, he's gonna take back the TM modem.

Is this normal? Thanks your your feedback.

If it was me, i would just ask for it. They should provide the modem since u just registered. so u are entitled new set of BTU, router, STB and phone.

Lifetime warranty for BTU. There is no need for you to buy or keep the extra unit. It has no market value.
