Send the email again and attach this into your email:

Citation from The Sun Daily Malaysia: “On merchants who require a minimum purchase amount before a customer can pay with a credit card or those who impose a surcharge, Tan said consumers can lodge a complaint with BNM.”

Citation Source:
http://www.thesundaily.my/news/2017/04/13/...on-number-cards

Because it is mentioned by their Director that you can complaint.

I seriously dont think there is benefit complaining about this to bnm.

While you are exercising your consumers' rights, note that you have to think from a perspective of a business owner. What happens when cost of running business increase? Pass the cost to consumer.

End up, you pay more. Dont so ocd la. It will take time to be like developed countries where £1 or $1 can be swiped with card. Hello, we dont earn as much as them. Such is the things are here.

for minimum purchase amount...if really want to complain then we hv tons of places can complain, but is it worth it?

for surcharge, some places memang should not impose surcharge, some places even though impose surcharge but really benefit the customer, so take and give...
if really want to complain about surcharge also I wont complain about CC but complain about the places imposing surcharge of 10% for using TnG for payment, like carparkssss...

As for minimum purchases, I feel it's worth it as it is our right to pay with the available methods that is allowed by Bank Negara. Also the Director himself said that minimum amount for payment should not happen and also Bank Negara is pushing towards cashless future for Malaysia.

As for Surcharges, there's no give and take as it is a capitalist world as they would take any opportunity to suck our money for their own benefit/ profits.

If kena reject from Maybank for application, when should I re-apply? Because I think they reject because I dont have any car loan atm, so got no credit history, but now maybe now that I have a car loan at hand, they can check my credit history

I guess not.

Unless you are submitting EA instead of payslip, then it might matter.

Previously got rejected for credit card application due to PTPTN tunggakan. Just settled it this early of the month. Just went and check the CCRIS report it's still not showing 0 yet so I think should be next month only can see it.

Should I wait for next month only go and apply credit card? Or as long as I settle the tunggakan then should be all right to go and apply?

Credit card still refers to CCRIS.
I settled my tunggakan in October 2016 and until April 2017, my applications were still rejected. Just tried luck again this month and see how it will fare.
My CCRIS already zerolized since I cleared tunggakan in October. Just saying.

I have a question.
What is the difference between ringgitplus and outside agent we see in malls for Credit card application? I am sure they are not direct to the bank.

1. Is ringgitplus an agent for so many credit cards?
2. If apply from ringgitplus, am i meeting up with some agent from them?

Anybody knows?
