Question,
can I just unplug my existing 2Tb HDD from my phat PS4 and swap with the stock HDD of a new PS4pro ? Anyone done that?  My previous HDD transfer from the stock 500Gb to 2Tb already took me one whole day to complete, prefer if I can avoid that nightmare again. |

Connect the PS4 PRO HDMI cable to a 4K HDR TV HDMI Port will have the 4K HDR 60Hz gaming experience provided with the correct settings in both console & 4K HDR TV. SIMPLE.

Borderlands handsome collection looks great. Been looking for that one. Should I get it now or wait for Flash sale? Anyone played Metro before? What's the game like for you? Which one goes first cos looks like so many variant. Metro redux. Metro last light redux. Metro 2033 redux. |

I just checked PS Store was selling Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for RM65, relatively cheap compared to the physical disc.

Played Outlast 2 last night... So much more scarier than Resident Evil 7.. RE 7 is a disappointment for me.. Tried Inside demo too... Amazing game.. Still contemplating in getting the full version |

as the year ends those 4k tv is going to tumble down.
besides the technology is getting cheaper, no harm done buying a pro now and buying the 4k tv later. not many games going full 4k hdr yet. |

Anyone of you have issue with the download speed on your pro? (connect through lan)
I try both my ori ps4 and pro On my ori ps4 I manage to get 45 mb average download speed on the network test, download games are pretty fast and consistent the speed..while on my pro Network test get only 4-5mb average, download are very slow....  Using 50mb unifi Any idea what happened, ethernet port spoil? |

The PS5 isn't going to target 8k, who said it will and how in any logical sense can it even target 8k if it's going to be a $500 box at most? The PS5 will target 4k gaming at better framerates, it will target a better VR experience, it will target for games to be fluid with Freesync2/VFR. It's entirely enticing to ditch the PS4 for the PS5. As for everyone else, no need to have knee jerk reactions. It's obvious we are going to hear about PS5 speculations, leaks and bullshitting all throughout the rest of 2017 and basically 2018. But realistically speaking, the PS5 is a late 2019 release. Great games, hell yes. 4k capability, not really... Sort of, not really. Amazing GPU/CPU architecture? This has gotta be a joke. The CPU in the PS4 is a glorified tablet CPU. It's been the weakest sauce in the entire system, it's slow and has no headroom whatsoever. The GPU is fairly average, but no where near great. Why would ditching the PS4 mean that the PS5 is less enticing? The PS5 isn't going to target 8k, who said it will and how in any logical sense can it even target 8k if it's going to be a $500 box at most? The PS5 will target 4k gaming at better framerates, it will target a better VR experience, it will target for games to be fluid with Freesync2/VFR. It's entirely enticing to ditch the PS4 for the PS5. nonetheless, I concur. By itself, the cpu or gpu doesn't look that impressive especially when comparing to the PC market today. But being a console that it is, and able to dish out 60 framerate at 4k res on a cheap budget is impressive still. In short, you can't make a PC equivalent of PS4 for the same price. 8K is just an example. 4K is still in its infancy, and will continue to be the next standard of high-res in 1-2 years more. else they gonna shoot themselves in the foot again IMO, if they just emphasized on the beef-up hardware for 4K60fps, and better VR experiences? not many of the current PS4 owners gonna jump the gun without porting over the existing library. |

Guys, recently got my Playstation 4 Pro, and I'm not sure about the power button. It has to be pressed deep to make it click and work unlike the eject button which seems fine and normal. So any guess about the power button? I mean is it a faulty power button or it's made this way

Hi all sifu, I just bought uncharted 4 and the update patch size around 13gb. I start download the patch. It starts with preparing to download and then it eventually start. The problem is when I pause the download and resume back, it starts all over again. Any solution to that? I can't afford to download once to finish as I have limited data. Some games update I can resume halfway but this one I am unable to do that.

I've an annoying problem. Once played in HDR mode and powered off or return back to non HDR mode. My 4K HDR TV flicker with few rolling vertical and horizontal lines....

I bought a R2 game few days back and then I created a R2 account in my PS4 since I dont have one. Then , I tried to redeem the DLCs but I have problem to login to the Playstation Network in my R2 account. Problem as in it keeps on load and wont let me to access the Playstation Store to redeem the DLCs. Must we redeem the codes from the console itself in Playstation Store ? Can we key in the DLCs using a computer by signing into my new created R2 account ?

ps and heat are nothing new. anything above 50 degrees C is
hot but within operational temp. i doubt there is a console that runs at full tilt at tempt lower then that for a fin+fan type convection. solution? put in an ac, place it on well open spaces. cheap fags like me, buy a fan and make your consoles life alot easier and breezier. there should be a card that has a section for you to scratch to reveal a redeem code on the applicable PS Store region (in this case yours should be applicable to country like SG, MY, TH, IND)

I have some sort of a problem with my PS4 hoping of any of the sifus here can help. Same setup never happened with PS3 system before this.
I have an Asian PS4 which uses the circle buttons for 'yes/accept' and X buttons for 'no/cancel'. I know the Europe systems use it the other way around. I have a US and Asian ID both setup as primary. I bought some games thru PS Store and downloaded using PSX download helper using PC at ofis. Now my problem is that some of the games I've bought and installed all have the circle and X buttons inverted and become like the Europe versions. Exiting the menu when I want to proceed, cancelling when I actually mean yes. That sort of thing. It is very annoying as I keep pressing the wrong button all the time. R1 and R3 games also same thing. Supposed to be R3 games in Asian system should follow Asian button setup la. It is only in the games that the buttons get swapped. The PS4 menu system work just fine. I don't want to change the buttons in the settings since it will change the setup for the while system. I prefer the Asian button setup for circle and X buttons. Does anyone face this problem before and how do you get rid of it? |

If not mistaken I saw someone from the forum mention he is using digi broadband for ps plus with unlimited internet over the weekend. Mind to share the stability of the network when playing ps plus online? I plan to get 1 now as unifi want to charge me 450 for installation fee. Sorry for a bit off topic here. |

TP Link, Dlink got superb 4G LTE router, just search for them on the net. i am forced to use mobile broadband as no unifi/streamyx at my taman yet. as always, try using prepaid at your place first to see how fast is the speed. |

But due to how dynamic IP address works, Sony will identify a batch list of IP addresses that has been ping'd to DDoS or hack their systems. Changing your DNS isn't a full proof solution to the WS-37397-9 error.
The only full proof solution is to lease a static IP from your ISP. Even then, you MUST personally make sure that no one on your network becomes a douche and starts doing stupid things on the internet. |

Did the PS4 connection test obtained NAT type 2 download speed: 30.5Mbps upload speed : 2.7Mbps it seems like my upload is way off, I was hoping i can obtain about 6 or 7Mbps for upload. I having difficulties to connect remote play. Anyone can guide me? I tried OpenDNS Primary: 208.67.222.222 Secondary: 208.67.220.220 which is slightly faster than google DNS. |

Is psn down? I tried 3 different Internet source, all failed to login psn. But the ps4 shows Internet connection available, only failed to login psn.

FW 4.70 is causing a little bit of delay on HDCP handshake with my receiver. PS4 Pro here. Usually the handshake is about a second max, now it takes about 10-20 seconds.
Yup. Something is strange with 4.70. |

Updated fw 4.70 this morning on my ps4 pro. Have problem connecting to dark souls 3 server. Still unsure whether fw issue or streamyx issue. Other devices seem to connect ok with streamyx

Just recently picked up a PS4 and tried to use my V-MODA Crossfade LP connected to my DS4 V2 controller but it doesn't detect the mic but it output audio perfectly. If you have a solution for this please tell me T_T So now I'm looking for decent headphones that work flawlessly when connected to my DS4 controller. This will require to have a mic. Budget about RM500. DO advice. |

I got error from psn, said please update wallet payment. Trying to buy the tekken deluxe. Already tried 2 card, and also a PayPal. 3 of them failed. Usually no problem when buying games & dlc. Using mbb Btw. |

Sony's presentation is underwhelming to be honest. Microsoft took it this year just by Xbox one X's announcement and the promise to run games at 4k@60fps and it's backward compatibility is awesome! Their game lineup still sucks tho. Playstation didn't show anything new. Games they've announced were revealed last year and just showed new in-game footages. Looking forward to Spiderman and the Shadow of Colossus. Should have showed FF7 remake IMHO.

maybe that game developer don't want to reveal much due to certain reasons. but then again, who cares. because in the end, it's about pleasing the gamers. Just saying. |

you pointed yourself, sony have their own thing now, why waste it on again, something that will lead them to be competing with others when you have your own show. much more glam and, key word here less competition on todays ever more competitive scene.
board members mean ought on todays corporate world.plus ESA is more on regulations then anything(loosely), with all the hoo haa that came after the congress hearing in 93'. nothing much to appease the house and over time it did grew in importance with the coverage its gaining but i guess learning from Apple, sony being the guns decided not to go full steam as they would have done in the past. 2cents from some one not "covering" the events here haha. for some they may expect more, but for some its just the other side of the same coin. the box fellas might be overjoyed by new "x" in their box while the squaretrianglecirclex already had the new one and for a while now. and i doubt they going to rush in a new system just because a box has an extra " x"RnD and production waayyy 2 different tree to be barking at and with good reason. just upgraded to ps4 pro wta, was trying to play horizon, and the first screen after loading save, the fan blow at full speed.. pretty loud. is it normal? no such problem when playing uncharted 4 though. |

I have a very confusing problem with PS4 Pro, only recently i get to test my SHARP 4K TV LC40UA330X alongside the Pro. First time it doesn't work because the cable provided inside the box was only HDMI 1.4 and not HDMI 2.0. So i purchased a HDMI 2.0 cable to solve the prob but it still doesn't work. It says "The connected tv does not support HDCP 2.2. Applications that support 4K might display in 4K". How come my TV doesn't support 4K when it's advertised to do so? Is there any converter cable or anything to enable HDCP 2.2 on my TV? I don't have the budget to buy another 4K TV just because of this mess. Why doesn't sony tell beforehand that the pro requires both HDMI 2.0 cable & HDCP 2.2 enabled to play in 4K is beyond me. I hope sony comes up with a fix somewhere along the lines if not i'm gonna forget about it and just continue playing in 1080p.

A HDMI cable is a HDMI cable, that's all. There exists HIGH-BANDWIDTH HDMI cables, but they are NOT called HDMI 2.0 cable. To put it in very, very simple terms; the HDMI cable is simply a transport for data from point A to point B. 2) Check your TV's manual on WHICH HDMI port is designated to support HDCP 2.2. Not all TVs has equal HDMI ports, usually low-end TVs only have ONE HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2. 3) A 4k TV does not automatically mean that it has HDCP 2.2. HDMI 1.4 can pass 4k but at 30hz, of which does not require HDCP 2.2. Many 4k TVs from 2014 and 2015 suffer from this issue. 4) You can try and buy a HDCP stripper like a HD Fury integral, but it's going to cost you, A LOT. Perhaps as much as your TV. 5) Again, a HDMI 2.0 cable does not exist and HDCP 2.2 was stated to be required for the PS4 Pro by Sony. 6) No fix will come, because there is nothing to fix. If it doesn't work, it's simply hardware incompatibility. The only remedy is that you get the correct hardware. I cannot find your TV's manual online, so I cannot verifiy for you. But basically if point no.2 is not available on your TV, then sorry to say but you're screwed. |

The KS7000 is a pretty decent TV. Does everything fairly well, but not great in any department. New PS4 Pro Trailer by Sony Pomises Dynamic and Native 4K, Biggest and Best Games, and More
Sony Interactive Entertainment boasts its PS4 Pro lineup and the hardware capabilities of the console. Sony Interactive Entertainment released today a new trailer for its PS4 Pro console. The trailer focuses on Sony’s own headline titles including God of War, Gran Turismo Sport, Horizon Zero Dawn, Deroit: Become Human, Knack II, Spider-Man and Days Gone. It also boasts the hardware capabilities of the console, including “Dynamic and Native 4K,” HDR support and more enhancements to games like cleaner shadow, better anti-aliasing, and crisp imagery from greater distances. We hear about details on clothes, rust flakes on metals, smoother, softer, more convincing and more realistic faces, heavy and realistic smoke and steam, producing a “more authentic and visceral atmosphere.” Of course there’s also talk about faster frame rates and “razor sharp controls” to complete the picture, alongside entertainment content with 4K streaming and upscaling. Anyone here have experience using a save editor ?
Planning to use one for FFX and FFX-2. Finished those >10 years ago and I do not feel like grinding again haha. Edit. Just tried using those and it works. Of course, no online game supports but this reminds me of the good old days of gameshark on the PSone/PS2. Hopefully with this I don't have to pay for DLC which locks up existing content. Hi guys please help, just recently my ps4 home screen
behave very slow, the What's New section sometimes won't load and when selecting games the details area showing trophies won't show up at all, i go to setting to test the internet connection and it tell me that my NAT type 3 which below show me that it got some restrictions, is this the problem? but i can watch the YouTube app without problem, anyone got this problem? |

I am about to get Unifi installed at my house early next month.
so what can i expect of Unifi when playing online? will it be 100x better than my current Digi BB100? Stability how? 99% of the time can get 30Mbps speed without lag ? No interruptions? if playing US or europe server won't lag? Should i keep Digi BB100 as a backup line? Looks like i have to admit now: Fiber optics > 4G LTE but pricing wise, Unifi RM179 vs Digi BB100 RM100 (gst not included) |

hi all, my ps4 of 1.5 years old is suddenly not working properly. After i switch on, it only stays on for about 10 secs, then it offs by itself. at any time after switch on, it never stays on longer than 5-10 seconds.
Any idea whats wrong with it, and where i can fix it in klang valley area? thanks guys! |
