QUOTE(greyshadow @ Apr 25 2017, 11:45 AM)
Question,
can I just unplug my existing 2Tb HDD from my phat PS4
and swap with the stock HDD of a new PS4pro ?
Anyone done that? hmm.gif

My previous HDD transfer from the stock 500Gb to 2Tb already took me one whole day to complete, prefer if I can avoid that nightmare again.
*
i guess should be possible ... nod.gif or someone can help us bout this matter ... im curious too

Hey guys my storage space ran out and planning to get an external drive. Any brands you guys recommend and what the ideal space i should get so i don't regret it later? Any vendors on lowyat selling at good price? Thanks in advance.
*
the current firmware supports up to 8tb external hdd , or do you still prefer upgrading your internal hdd ? if so i would suggest seagate backup plus slim 2tb external hdd ( you need to open up the case and swap with your current internal hdd )

*
all PS4 games region free ( doesnt matter from which region ) , the difference would be the DLC ( which is region locked & must according to PSN id region )

Very sad that slim does not have an optical output. I think it is a step backwards at the expense of it being "slim"
*
one of the reason why ps4 phat is the best choice compared to slim ( surely there is pros & cons for both ) nod.gif

Anyone using external hard disk to increase storage space? If yes, do you keep it plugged in all the time or only plug in when need to access certain games and save files?

What are the recommended brands?

Currently using Ps4 500Gb MGSV edition
*
All the time .. Im using seagate backup plus slim 2tb external

Without a 4K tv, is the ps4 pro still a good option? Or a normal ps4 is enough if there's no tv to back it up
*
Q: Will PS4 Pro require a 4K TV?
No. PS4 Pro can display much higher resolutions than the standard PS4 when using a 4K TV. But if you own an HDTV (720p, 1080i, 1080p), PS4 Pro can still improve your gaming experience.
