And to add to that, direct hire can be used to fill in exec or non exec position. So if non exec position, so of course the pay would not be on the high side.

Base on your performance of course. 3L, 3S, 3H, 2 and I. Everyone has different performance, years of service and other allowance so I guess nobody can answer your question precisely. The increment also changes every year.

east malaysia allowance - 10% of your basic salary

and if you are based in Bintulu, you will be entitled to housing allowance

They called it Assistance allowance, and it will be revised after 2 years. Rental rate in Bintulu is crazy !!

No worries bro, just get yourself on an exercise program and cholesterol-busting diet. Once you're confident, one month should be enough, go back for another checkup. If I'm not mistaken only for the problematic area, in your case BP and cholesterol level. Should be cheap as you'll be paying it yourself this time.

You can consider yourself already hired bro, just take it as a chance to get yourself fit again. smile.gif

I dont think petronas really bother that much for obese employee. I see so many obese guys and girls in petronas. Or is it because they are subject matter experts? They seemed to be old though

This is for pre-employment, mostly for offshore purpose bro. And once you're in, the worst they can do is not allow you to go offshore anymore when you can no longer be considered fit for it.

They'll only inform you if there are any issues, otherwise they'll just send it straight to Petronas HR. But you can always ask, it's your own health report, I suppose you can even ask them to print the whole report for you. In my case, the doctor let me take my chest X-ray home to keep.

1. No more sugary drinks (coke/pepsi must cut-off completely), those Nescafe or Teh Tarik, kurangkan. Drink water only
2. No more salty foods (junk food basically)
3. Puasa every Monday and Thursday
4. DO NOT drink coffee before taking blood pressure. Caffeine is known to jack up your blood pressure.

Be discipline.

Yes. Petronas is an MNC and they requires all sorts of people and not just Geoscientists/Petroleum Engineers.
