I just wanted to ask whether anyone had heard the rumour regarding the petronas salary hike from previously 3.5k to ~4.2k?

so its not as much a raise as it is a conversion of benefits directly to cash? I think id prefer the benefits.

the benefit will be told in PIPE?.. oh I see, I just curios coz there nothing mention about it in offer letter..

hoho i don't know  how my working life later, but I'm just reporting in KLCC but will be  working in Kerteh..
but a little bit weird, I will be reporting in this month on 16 and my PIPE session only in next month 03/01... It is common practice? I still don't know when I'll go to Kerteh though.. hum...

I've previously done internship with Petronas, and now just graduating my Mechanical Engineering bachelor end of November, i've applied for a graduate position in Petronas earlier December. I've so far received a call from Carigali HR that they've received my resume and stuff.

How long do you guys think I have to wait for the SI?

you should call them... normally they let us know the SI result after 2 weeks.. don't be shy.. they also like u before...

1. What is the Salary Range for E2 Grade in Petronas..
2. Is there any additional allowance/technical allowances?When?
3. How many months the probation period? After that period, the pay will be increased?
4. What happen if you reject their offer?

I'm now waiting my offer letter..but I dont have any idea how they are going to offer me..

petronas flexi hour is 7,8 and 9..if i start work at 8.30 can ar?

may i know is there any allowance for the E1 technical ppl (eg: engineer) besides the 4k basic?

Hello there, need some help here

I just accept offer from Petronas to work in one its OPU. Will have my PIPE starting on 3rd Sept and finish 16 Sept. Will need to report duty on 17th Sept.

May I know, will Petronas take care of my transport and accomodation to go to that OPU and stay for the first few days. I ask this because the place is very new to me and dont have any relatives there. And time given between end of PIPE program and reporting duty is relatively short. If everything is being taken care of, so there is no need to worry la..  

And tq for those who reply my question before, I have been offered pstn of exec(process eng). For those who is still waiting for offer letter, u will get it after u do medical check up.

where did u guys have ur SI?
I had my SI in end of July in Petronas Refinery Kerteh.
And the HR manager told me it was a immediate vacancy. After 2 weeks, I called back to the HR person in charge, and he told me I have got the recommendation. just need to wait for confirmation from the Petronas Refinery. But now, it's almost a month after that. What should I do? Should I keep calling the person in charge? As I have read alot about many people have had been given recommendations yet no news was heard after that, I start to worry I am one of them. T_T
What you guys think?
