QUOTE(xuzen @ Jul 25 2020, 10:40 AM) Better Sharpe Ratio. Alamak, I did totally terbalik with you yesterday for July ======================== My Jul 2020 rebalancing: 1) SWITCH 100% Manu-Reits to CIMB-China 2) SWITCH 25% of Manu-US to CIMB-China. I am increasing my China exposure. NB: For those who are interested and may not notice; the Std-Dev of US fund has overtaken China fund. That is why I am making my move as part of risk mitigation process. It used to be the other way around. Xuzen p/s 1) Jul 2020 which will end in a week's time is looking to be another fantastic month. Don't stop baby, don't stop! Jun 2020 was an OK-OK month; my port made a <1% M-o-M gain. Sold Eastspring dinasti @+12% Top up: Manulife REIT Manulife US Affin Hwang opportunity |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Jul 24 2020, 05:43 PM) Base on the selected fund, 1:3 ratio for bond:equities is good enough from your experience ? AMANAHRAYA SYARIAH TRUST FUND for bond Principal Greater China Equity Fund for greater china TA Global Technology Fund for US tech This 3 is ok combination. Having said that, with the exception of the bond fund. The other 2 might be too high to enter now. Personally, I would also add on Amchina A-shares. This is also worth considering. The bond should be good for your 60/70 low-medium volatility TAGTF, greater china n Amchina for 30/40 equity portion. which other equity replacement is worth looking at since TAGTF & Greater China is higher now. will read more Amchina-A, tq |

QUOTE(no6 @ Jul 26 2020, 03:48 PM) 1:3 ratio for bond:equities is good enough from your experience ? The ratio is really up to your risk tolerance. It depend on how much u can stomach a drop. This depends on your financial goals. If u are older, then u need a more stable portfolio, usually more bonds and lesser equity, and vice versa.which other equity replacement is worth looking at since TAGTF & Greater China is higher now. will read more Amchina-A, tq At this moment I dont see anything to replace TAGTF & Greater China. All relative performing funds are also very high right now for me. no6 liked this post
