Same! 1400x, higher ghz with less core count. doesn't really need 6 core for gaming.
the 1400x has 4core 8 threads that is the sole reason im going for that
since u say less core count....might as well go for 1300?
1 thing shall take note is....model number with X on it has XFR, extended frequency range which can boost way higher than designed boost clock if temperature allow

with lesser core, the 4-cores probably will clock higher than 6 or 8 cores unless the silicone quality is different that is
Pricing issue, AMD tend to compete with the pricing, but it's not that cheap. Rather spend a couple of hundreds MYR more to get maximum performance from Intel.
amd is good choice for those do not have budget for dedicated gc, but desired to play game
They got it to 5.1 GHz on all 8 cores of the 1800X at the demo with LN2. Looks like it wont have much headroom on air or water cooling. I'm guessing should do 4.2 on air and maybe 4.5 on water..
