Like I said before, Asus C7H no issue. Its just annoying when I have to turn CSM on just to do a lot of settings on my current board.

Buy anything but Gigabyte. Unless you don't want Secure Boot. You have to turn off CSM for Secure Boot. Gigabyte UI is slow when CSM is off. Used same 3900X on Asus C7H, not even once with slow downs.

Mehhhh I have totally zero issues with gigabyte’s bios. maybe cuz i dont use the cursors as i just navigate with the arrow keys and key in the numbers manually old school style. Infact i hate asus and msi’s annoying dropdown lists super much to the point i really wanna smash the board when selecting the fidgedy dropdown list... freaking time wasting. especially when pushing the limit and have to reset cmos very frequently.

Im pretty sure i can set the full sub timming table on the gigabyte bios way before you can even dropdown select the freq and voltage on the asus bios... just need to numpad enter numpad enter then F2 enter reboot and done

but i gotta say, the drop down list is indeed very noob friendly. The way gigabyte bios was laid out, i guess most beginers will get overwhelmed by the hex numbers and a page full of figures and jargons to set in advanced mode.

Each of their own i guess.

ps: to be fair, asus and msi bios can use the + and - keys to set values without using mouse cursor dropdown which made them less annoying.

There are some local sellers started to list 5900x/5950x on Lazada/Shopee but as usual the price is 50% of MSRP.

Those wanting to buy Zen 3, just wait it out a few more months first. The next major AGESA update will be important. Don't be an early adopter.

Still getting them at random but very rare. Despite having done over 100 hours of memtest86 and stress tests stable. It will occasionally surprise modafukaaa and goes poof when light browsing or enjoying some music.

I think Zen 2 they diam diam sweep under the rug already, hoping people will forget about the issues or for the vocal ones being so minor that no one would listen to them anyway.

I believe the next AGESA will be the last release that is optimized for Zen 2, beyond that I'm sure they're moving all their efforts to Zen 4 while doing fixes that no one cares about for Zen 3.

sigh.. i dont know what to expect already, did what i can and still happens once in a bluemoon. Most users will probably just shrug it off, but it can be super annoying especially when Im in the middle of doing something when it crashes randomly... like drafting a letter and all the progress gone if forgot to save ughhhh.

Welp it is a bitter sweet experience. No doubt the performance is damn good for the price when it first launched paired with a B450 despite having some minor issues. Now with intel's price slash and the expensive B550 mobo which i just upgraded into hoping the issues will go away.... i dont know what to feel anymore.

turn out its just my case fan died. got some new fans now 3 intake 1 exhaust playing games cpu mostly stayed around 60c max 73c, gpu also goes 71c max with stock clock

i supposedly wanted to give it a last shot by getting 5800x but after seeing that there’s still some issues.. i give up on the plan.

Now Im finding someone to trade a 10400k z490itx for my ryzen 3600 B550 itx with top up on my side but no luck. Hopefully one day got someone interested haha.

I already installed it, but I haven't try to OC the Infinity Fabric yet. Sigh......

Maybe next week? Cause uncle needs to work on weekdays.

Why not just RMA? After u got brand new unit i think will be easy to sell.

that’s the problem.. who will buy when shops are demanding at least mobo bundle to get the zen3 cpu.. plus it’s only a month old. Really a dead stock.
