QUOTE(Harold2009 @ Apr 20 2017, 08:53 AM) Yeah, agree, our economy worst ever merosot, rakyat lose buying power, even buy an intel G4560 also expensive already, amd ryzen comes in premium price in wrong place and wrong time, especially Malaysia, don't expect good sales, same as intel I7 and I5 and I3 bad sales, mostly hot items enough for today titles games peoples pick pentium G4560, RX460, GTX 1050/ 1050Ti. Dealers sales log record can prove this. Even G4560 now is out of stock Becoz of lame economy, ,ppl who gaming will more go to console for cheaper option and save up space, especially ps4 @@ Playstation price is not much different with US price, better ass than overprice low end pc.Ryzen hit right point for end user onli, coz its unnecessarily ryzen for decent gaming, even i7 7700k is better for high end gc rig, commonly pentium will done job right. |

QUOTE(eDwanD @ Apr 20 2017, 01:55 AM) Is it because of bottleneck or because optimization, still cannot confirm yet. Since there here lot of small buggy around @@ supposedly, vega will utilize the number of cores and threads made in ryzen CPU. hence we might be looking at new benchmark for gaming.I think just give time to see whats going on ~ Can conclusion after time given. I means wait for Vega which an really perform against gtx1080, CF vega will get us see how's ryzen can done in 4k gaming. Anyway, i dont really care all game run 4k 60fps XD coz i cant afford 2 gtx1080ti at the moment of performance/dollar XD My opinion, ryzen make a right point currently, for targetting most of ppl can run faster cpu power demand job even its not the fastest. If as bulldozer, thats called failure, coz make the wrong point. when amd going to release vega? intel has to answer to the amd challenge. those buying new gaming pc might need to wait for vega. |

Woke up this morning, read Wccftech there shows that both Nvidia and Intel are going to answer to AMD Ryzen and AMD's Vega this Q3, guess those bought Intel/Nvidia C/GPU early this year will got hit badly, for us who already purchased Ryzen can just hope Vega price is fair enough for it's performance.when amd going to release vega? intel has to answer to the amd challenge. those buying new gaming pc might need to wait for vega. |

For Nvidia, I think their drivers needs optimization as well.I heard there is update for ryzen, does it improve gaming performance? One of the game that is optimized: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-ryzen...tion,34021.html |

It's not going to be like that for long as system become more and more stable and optimisation becomes better .I heard there is update for ryzen, does it improve gaming performance? Ryzen will definitely outperform intel. |

QUOTE(soulfly @ May 21 2017, 09:48 PM) i found the issue.it was game boost at bios. it boosted from stock 3.0ghz to 3.4ghz but increased vcore to 1.44v as well. when turned it off, clock speed goes back to 3.0ghz but vcore remains high. re-flashing bios is the best option. anyways. stock volt running between 0.9-1.1v normally ![]() |

QUOTE(mastering89 @ May 22 2017, 07:57 PM) i found the issue. It was randomly crashed. I had to overclock my 1700X to 3.8GHz with vcore 1.3625v, LLC level 2, and SOC at 1.2v to make it completely stable. Try G.Skill AEGIS 2400MHz..I don't think OC CPU to 3.8GHz will be affected by the RAM. My unlucky silicon lottery 1700X also can get 3.8GHz easily with Micron Dual Ranks chip RAMs. |
