Depends on you, if u wont need to use the money within 1 year, then just place 1 year FD, interest will higher (but base on the rate that bank offer)

I saw that around 10am before I went out. Was shocked initially by the 14 mth rate. But then was thinking cannot be, something wrong somewhere ! devil.gif

I am also looking for April FD offers. Monday will have hard time to decide as have to check for offers and terminating FD and transferring dough here and there ! biggrin.gif

""Hong Leong Bank 4% Fixed Deposit Promo for April 2017.

Please visit here again on 3rd April where I will share with you Hong Leong Bank Latest Revised FD Promo for 3rd April until 30 April 2017 where you can earn up to 4.05% interest rate for 12 months and if you are a Senior or Priority Banking Customers, you may be entitled to 4.30%!!! This is not a joke.""

If the HL 4.3% for their PB is true, that will be even better than the Tuesday 4.15% eFD. Hope it is not another joke ! tongue.gif

Gonna check out tomorrow. Anyone heard about this ? hmm.gif

The HLB e-FD account is created when FPX more than the minimum amount. After the transaction is successful, the second transaction can top up the existing e-FD account or another new account is created for each transaction?

Called to HL branch, seems no such 4.3% FD promo. The GenX page has also taken the above statement down. biggrin.gif

People complaining in their Facebook ! tongue.gif

please let me know if i get this right?

1. AMB - 4.35% - 5 years, monthly interest
2. BR - 4.5 - 5 years (need to nego and probably >100K), monthly interest?
3. CIMB prefered - 4.2%
4. HLB senior - 4.3%
5. HLB eFD - 4.05%(tuesday 4.15%) - 1 year, monthly interest

Yes-1 (need Islamic account FYI) ,2,3
Not sure -4
No-5 : it's 9 months for 4.05% p.a. / 4.15% Tuesday; interest on maturity for eFd / 6 months 4% over counter placement.
