Done my eFD with HLB too. Simple, fast and easy :-)

had mine old eFD (hong leong) mature few days ago, the money was in my hong leong saving, transferred out to maybank, and back to the eFD via FXP. It works.

Haha...exactly same as what I did. rclxms.gif My FD just matured on Monday!

Until this date, which promo that is ongoing with the highest rate?

So far HLB and UOB offering 4.0%

Any bank that offers higher than 4.0?

CIMB (last Friday still have 4.1x one year), HL (the online frenzy on Tuesday)

This HongLeong Connect eFD offers by FPX method - any other banks changed their programs so can do multiple 30k placements besides keep shifting money to Maybank M2U for this offer?
Besides the eFD placement, any idea whether can do similar multiple FPX for paying many others above 30K by using M2U or other banks when redirected by other vendors? I mean is this a special thing between HLConnect and M2U only or can similar thing be done for other vendors/M2U?

So far only Maybank from what I observed. Exact reason, dont ask me. I think Maybank is generous.

For the HLB, only if you make e-transfer fund from other banks then only eligible for that 4.15 right

In BR to withdraw FD. Have nego before. They do not have FD promo currently. So nego for 1 year from 3.7% board rate to 3.9%. For 2 yr can offer nego of 4.1%. 5 yrs 4.5%. Up to March month end only. April offer not known yet. biggrin.gif

I think BR 5 yrs 4.5% can consider better than AmBank 4.35%.

Anyway moved to CIMB at 4.2% 12 mth. This is only for CIMB Preferred customer. For normal customer, CIMB FD promo 12 mth 4.1% for conventional and 4.05% for Islamic FD.

Haha, u still remember that 4.15% ?

Surprised that CIMB has been changing their offers. Just 14/3 placed for that 4.15% FD. No point to withdraw as lose the interest. Still keeping it safe with CIMB ! biggrin.gif
