The HLB e-FD account is created when FPX more than the minimum amount. After the transaction is successful, the second transaction can top up the existing e-FD account or another new account is created for each transaction?

May i know if Affin bank FDs are allowed to be uplifted at any of their branches? Or must it be only at the home branch?

Will stick to Affin bank then as I'm able to place FD thru internet banking and don't need to go to their branch.

Hi would like to ask: do Affin bank board rates apply to eFD as well? Able to uplift online too?

Went to Affin Bank this morning, was told 4.23% is under Affin Islamic, need CASA.

For conventional 4.15% 15 months board rate available.

Great! Any specific documents needed for CASA opening at Affin? Some banks can be quite fussy .

I opened CASA around two years ago for conventional not Islamic, no specific documents required. Not sure if rules changed now or what’s the rules for Islamic.

Thanks! Well 4.15 vs 4.23 ain't that much of a difference except in the 100s of thousands or millions. Affin seems to be FD market topper for now

Yup they are. But personally, the shorter tenure and hassle of account opening aren't much to look forward to 😴
