SAMSUNG PAY ACCEPTED HERE

this sticker normally means, merchant are aware of this payment method, gladly accept it, unlike others who don't know about it and are more likely to reject due to afraid of you breaking their system or they thought of it as you try to hack their system.

there is still cases where they stick the "Samsung Pay accepted here", but the cashier don't know about it and don't know how to operate

usually i ask them can use paywave or not...if can use pay wave, so samsung pay can be use....

same as for me. better than if you straight ask samsung pay or not, becasue most cashier are not aware of this samsung pay yet.

I just realised that some of the retail shops refused to use SamsungPay/Visa Wave even the terminal is support.

e.g. Padini

as long pay wave can be use, samsung pay sure can be use....except some shop where need to key in some number on card(some need 1st 4 digit, some last 4 digit...)

so far when i pay with phone, sure some cashier will be amaze...haha... even in mydin once maybe the cashier not familiar, call their sv, then sv show the step to the cashier... after finish, it tell the cashier the payment can using nfc or mst(the gesture of sv hand show to magnetic slide)

padini is quite famous but also refused

Just came across my mind. I'm quite impressed seeing thy pay using phone in DotS series, is that samsung pay..

Paid afew times in padini using samsung pay. No issues. Always ask for paywave first.

Tried to ask before. The cashier said company not accepting paywave.

Paid in Penang First avenue padini and it go through. Uniqlo also accepting.

If you already reach gold level on Sep and carry at least 1000 points (include bonus 450 points from Samsung) then technically you just need to buy 50(Oct) + 50(Nov) + 50(Dec) = 150 of McD sundae cone (RM150) to redeem Samsung Gear S3, which is cheap though. Like someone said, probably hang around McD and purchase 1 Sundae cone every 5 min then give it away to those kids or chicks. Can easily hit 50 in one day though. Achievable bros....lets do it!

tried using samsung pay for mcdonald in my hometown (muar). the manager thought i was using overseas card so he refunded me and asked me to pay by cash instead.

How many units of Gear S3 is available for redeem? if i only start now and get all the points earliest Jan 18, dunno still got or not?

We also don't know how many Samsung will allocate it for us.

I've schemed through almost 10 pages back but can't find an asnwer. If a retailer is using the terminal that doesn't support paywave where they have to slot in the card and ask us to key in our pin, can we still use samsung pay? And if can be used, where do we tap? I'm using gear s3 btw.

I really don't understand starbucks. Before samsung pay, i used cimb pay to pay and after the transaction was approved and receipt printed, the cashier asked for my card which i didnt bring with me. She later told me she cancelled my transaction but still prepared my drink. It was a free latte for me. Lol. Few days ago, i tried with samsung pay at different starbucks, transaction approved, receipt printed and notification came to my watch but then the cashier asked me to tap my watch at a different terminal attached to the monitor for few times but something was not registering. He needed to call a more experienced staff where she had to cancel my transaction and asked me to tap again, then only everything was ok. Something about the cashier picked a wrong payment method the first time. I guess it was the same issue both times where not all cashiers are well versed. I have no such issue with coffee bean though.

cause starbuck need to swipe our card twice, one for credit card payment, one for starbuck accounting use, so here is the problem, cause their machine (old type) can only accept swipe but not wave .....

btw base on BNM, they not allow to do that ....
