Don't know how many ice creams would you need to buy to earn a Gear S3
*
If you already reach gold level on Sep and carry at least 1000 points (include bonus 450 points from Samsung) then technically you just need to buy 50(Oct) + 50(Nov) + 50(Dec) = 150 of McD sundae cone (RM150) to redeem Samsung Gear S3, which is cheap though. Like someone said, probably hang around McD and purchase 1 Sundae cone every 5 min then give it away to those kids or chicks. Can easily hit 50 in one day though. Achievable bros....lets do it!

My friend did a calculation and got 1550pts a month.

5x10pts + 15x20pts + 30x40pts = 1550

Thx for the tagging part... used a couple of times only...

Yeah... that's why I try to do other purchases around the SPay.... in no time, I'll be diabetic if I go on with sundaes only.
*
This is the computation for the first month but don't forget that once you signed up Samsung Pay, Samsung will reward extra 450 points so technically you will still get 2000 points for the first month if you manage to complete 50 transactions. On the subsequent month you should be still at Gold level which mean can get 2000 points for 50 transactions.

I'm aiming for the highest coz like what Xisan says, you might never know they'll update with better stuff...

And if you dun make it to the highest redemption gift, you can trickle down to the next best...
*
This is a new platform for Samsung to dump all their old inventory there to clear it off. For example the current iconX and Gear S3 fore see that new iconX and Gear Sport are on its way to Malaysia. Perhaps there will be new redemption available but I don't expect it would be a new introduce device tho

Ic ok... noted on that. In the meantime, I hope there are some other good stuffs to redeem when I'm close to the final month.
*
I foresee cheap tablet / phone would be available in near future (those that going to obsolete)....but again I will not expect a new model

Gear S3 just received Tizen 3.0 update which is on par with latest Gear Sport. So Gear S3 will be the most worthy redemption in SPay rewards

I think I will settle for this since I believe S3 will be quite limited.  First come first serve basis.

Don't worry pal, new Gear Sport is on its way very soon besides that I guess not very much people aware of the Spay rewards on September most of them start late during October so you are one of the pioneer during September then should not be worried.

New Gear Sport and IconX

Is the problem/issue at McD Sg Dua, Penang Island resolved?
I didn't go there for 1 month plus.
*
Go for the most left counter, the wave function works. The problem one is at the middle counter, that day I insist want to use wave and I told the cashier I want to collect points so she cancel my order and ask me to go for the most left counter

i only got 5200 points. so tired to use this spay..haha
will 'retired' to use spay after get the Gear S3  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

I doubt that there are still more Gear S3 to be giving away, unless they still have bunch of them in their inventory and pending to clear off. Otherwise, they should expect Gear Sport to take the lead. No offense, just my guess smile.gif

I am quite disappointed how Samsung let people abuse Samsung pay them redeem prize. Genuine user like me use between rm50 to rm200 a day end up cannot hit target
*
Bro...what Samsung want to achieve is to sell a lot of their phones to make more money from it by transactions count instead of amount of spending. You know what, once you repeatedly make payment at the same cashier counter by using Samsung Pay some more single item and probably less than RM1 worth of item, the cashier will start to annoy and said what the heck is this guy doing, that's the purpose of this rewards system though biggrin.gif

They don't profit by abuse transactions because the abuser will redeem all the top gifts before legit spay owner because now they also limit the prizes.

Imagine an abuser with 3 Samsung phones with 3 Samsung account with 3 debit cards . He can get 7k points if he owns a credit card machine or he know someone that have he a credit card machine can redeem 3 top prizes before anyone on the 1st day itself.

The legit ones will get annoyed and tell their friends can't get prize even enough points like I am telling my friends.

I tried once at guardian for an item cost rm5. She even dare to ask me? Don't have cash?
*
At the end of the day the abuser may show off to their friends and family how he did that drool.gif Samsung still the winner though

Samsung is not the winner because honestly as a legit user I feel Samsung pay is troublesome because many places are skeptic about you paying with your phone or still not fully supported.
If samsung pay not able to make it accept widely Android pay and apple pay might topple samsung pay.

All the prizes Samsung offer needs to come from somewhere.and all cost money.
*
That is why Samsung giving out prizes to the Spay user to educate those merchant's cashier that all the wave enabled and supported credit card machine should support Spay seamlessly because it use MST instead of NFC (Android/Apple pay). Just imagine if Samsung launch their pay system without any marketing strategy like prizes and etc. then who is going to kick started since like you said quite troublesome when those cashier still had old mindset. Myself did educate few aunties cashier on this, at first they see me like one kind but after I proof it to her she show respect. I would say if we want our life getting easier in future we might consider to be part of the contribution however if you think this is not your job then you may only consider to use it until the system widely deployed and all the merchants are ready but it would take some time though.

Still couldn't able to figure out how to educate those stuborn cashier that ask me to put my card in PIN&PAY(because the machine doesn't support NFC/PayWave). duh...
*
I did complaint once to Petronas by calling their hotline, problem settle they promised that particular cashier will master it within 3 days very effective. The auntie later told me.....I've been work here for 8 years....never receive any complaint one but you are the first one......lol
If you want to work here....have to keep on learning, right!

Another case....cashier insist at least spend RM30 and above in order to pay by Samsung Pay. Same approach, call their hotline again ask about minimum spending guideline and the guy said they can't impose minimum spending in order to use Samsung Pay one. Again, the headquarter of Petronas call that branch and hantam them. Problem solved on my next visit.

Escalate = Educate (as you said some people really stubborn one, let their boss educate them...lol)

Easy..
for me when I'm buying stuff, I let them scan the price tag first
without asking Samsung Pay accepted or not,

After scan every thing and come out the total bill,
then I only say use Samsung Pay.
if they refused to try Samsung Pay, then I say I didn't bring cash & card.
Tell the cashier either u try Samsung Pay, or I don't want to buy d.

In scenario like this they will need to call their supervisor come in order to cancel items that have been scanned,
and they need to arrange back the items that I took,
end end they spent effort but didn't get any sales.

The cashier wanna give me trouble, I give them trouble back.
They also can't penalize me because I'm not stealing, and I got money to pay and really wanna buy things, but they don't want accept my payment method only.

Or else, ask them put signboard big big at entrance say "No Samsung Pay Allowed" , just like some shop indicate "Cash Only" .
Then let see what Samsung / Mastercard / bank will do to them.

Every Samsung Pay user harus bersatu, use the above method,
if only me alone doing so, the force is not big enough,
If every do so as above, we definitely can bring a great impact to all the mechants.
And above method also didn't violate any Malaysia Law, so no need scare of doing so.
*
Maybe try not to tell them you want to pay by "Samsung Pay" just tell them I want to pay by "Pay Wave" when they set everything ready then only flag out the phone and tap on it, they got nothing to say by then
