PADINI genting premium outlet does not accept samsung pay

PADINI accepts paywave in all the outlets i went so far. So samsung pay no problem

Finally used my first Samsung Paywave at McD. Quite cool. LOL. Hopefully can make it by January. >_<"

I used to fuel-up petrol at Petronas Jalan Paroi-Senawang.
Yesterday, it no longer accept Samsung Pay anymore.
I don't know whats the issue.

i am sure they will have something else equally attractive. Otherwise people would be less inclined to use that feature. It's free marketing for them also, more visibility for their phones whenever users use it to pay.

I have used it many times at this petrol station.

Start from now, their management do not want to accept Samsung Pay anymore.

A) Samsung Pay - swipe mesra card - approved - done
B) Samsung Pay - swipe mesra card - approved - fuel up - Samsung Pay - done

the bolded part baffles me......what financial damages they did encounter to come to that decision.

depends on the system, for old system, if we didnt tap again once fueled, it wont be detected by their system even its approved and that particular staff have to fork out their own money to repay the station. Our card will still be deducted tho, so it will be double pay. so i will try to avoid option B.

Besides aiming for Gear S3, u can also get Note 8...

Whattt? I guess I'm the last person to come to know about this. I thought it'll never work with machine that needs to slot in the card like Petrol station using.

All this while I thought Samsung Pay won't work hence I've been swiping my cc as usual.

I wanted to try but I was scared it would be dangerous to use the phone at the pump hence never tried before. I'm also worried some might be concerned when they see people using their phone at the pump.

So how do you do it? Just hold your phone at the black card reader?

Don't get me wrong.
It won't work with readers where you need to physically insert your card into a slot such as those found at gas stations and on ATMs.

Not sure at BHP as some petrol kiosk equip with NFC(PayWave/PayPass).
Anyone can confirm this?
