Sony Store is your best chance of getting a pro. Only problem is that you have to pay them in full to secure your unit.

It really is disheartening, to wait three effin months, and be told "sorry, we cant get stock". F*** you Game Hypermart, I am boycotting them from today onwards, never buying anything from them ever again.

What is even worse is now I can't even get the console. Everywhere I will end up being behind the queue, and most shops don't even want to take pre-order. Sony centres in Melaka is probably a no go either. F*** Sony, next time I'll just get an Xbox better.

There's always worse things that could happen. You could have given pre-order and the person run away with your money.

Ipoh Sony Centre seems to be fine. I think they already fulfilled some of the pre-orders from November. I ordered early December and it seems I m next in the queue but their "temporary receipt" seems shady. Is issuing a temporary receipt a standard procedure for all sony centres? Also, what if they suddenly tell you "the SRP is now RM2000 so you have to top up RM200"?

temporary receipt are used because you have not yet received your goods but already paid.

when you receive your goods, they should issue you the official receipt.

if you paid in full, they cannot charge additional price to the goods you paid.

Basically they are very slow. I tried to buy some RAM on their website. It says in stock After 1 week the order is still in process lol knn. Then I asked them and they answered what what need to check with warehouse bloody bullshit. Not ready stock but write in stock

But I'm just really salty now, cause everywhere pre-order expect March/April. What's even worse even shops famous in Lowyat like Heavy Arm also say price may change. So no guaranteed RM 1799. I don't really know what to do right now. I feel it is pointless ordering for March/April when price is not even confirmed and locked.

Gamehypermart bro? Bought a few stuff from them before last time. But after this, not anymore. I think the fact they can't even get one unit of PS4 Pro shows they are rather incompetent, other shops can get at least few units, this one can't get one also.

I know how you feel, I saved up for months as a student to be able to afford the pre-order and now I can't even get my hands on it. Now I have to save up for a higher amount because my preorder was void and I can't even get a PS4 Slim or something to replace it for the time being because I can't even get my money back. So in essence, spending nearly Rm4K on a Pro.

Rm 1K+ for pre-order, all lost due to seller run away cannot fulfill.
Rm 2k+ by the time can get stock and I am able to save up enough money for the Pro.

So value closer to 4K than 3K.

If I'm desperate enough to get a Slim PS4 while saving up then that's another 1K+.

basically it's run by few of incompetent young chaps which customer's right means nothing to them, for them everything is money first, service second
to get your sales, they'll promise everything, but when shits happens, they will refuse to honor the deal, even the customer already paid in full

for those still pre-ordered PS4 with them, do abandon hope they can fulfill the order, since launch till now they only get zero unit already proved what type of company they are
even those far away shops from Klang Valley can get at least a few units, but they are based in Klang Valley also can't get one?

Even if by miracles they do get a few units after Sony increase the RRP, they will not, and never will honor the pre-ordered price of 1799, even if you already paid in full.
that's from my personal experience with them, waited a few months after pre-ordered the NES Classic Mini with them, only to receive a notification from to them requesting me to top up the difference after price increase, if you refuse to top-up, they are even happier since they can cancel your order and re-sell your unit with a higher price.

Avoid them at all cost!
